Um yeah, everything installed fine, but the NoDvd crack keeps saying "Application can not start because bink32.dll file is not found" or some crap like that. So if someone can tell me what i did wrong or how to fix this i would appreciate it. THNX

THE TUTORIAL ON INSTALLING THE GAME

1. Once you've downloaded the file, download Power ISO. You could use a torrent to download this program, because they normally come with patches etc that will register your program. Next, install it. Follow the prompts.

2. Now, go to where you downloaded the game to (the folder etc.) and there should be a file there called "The.Elder.Scrolls.IV.Oblivion.part01"; open it using PowerIso.

3.On the screen, it will say that you are trying to open two multiple files; press OK. All these files will come up. From here, you can do two things; you can either burn it to a dvd, or you can extract the files into a folder. These processes will take 10 to 20 minutes, maybe more.

4. Anyways, once you've done that, go to the folder you extracted the game to, or the dvd drive you burnt it to, and double click on "SETUP.exe" This is to install the game itself. Once you've endured the pain of installing it (it took me 20 to 30 minutes), you're almost ready to play the game.

5. All you have to do now is install the DVD Crack. In the folder where you downloaded the game to (where you opened up The.Elder.Scrolls.IV.Oblivion.part01) there is a file called "The.Elder.Scrolls.IV.Oblivion.NoDVD.crack-RELOADED.ed2k". Open it with a program - I used Winrar.

6.Next, open up the folder you installed the actual game into (eg. C:Program FilesThe Elder Scrolls Oblivion etc) and you'll see a file called "Oblivion", which is 6.82 MB. You can delete this or move it into another folder, doesn't matter, unless you'd want to patch it in the future. If you do, place the EXE file of "Oblivion" into a folder where you remember it, maybe in the actual game's folder...

Now, extract the file in the No DVD Crack RAR file that was included with the torrent into the actual game's folder (eg. C:Program FilesThe Elder Scrolls Oblivion etc).

I've the complete instalation(when you see all the nice graphics of this game) and finally copied the 6.82mb file NoDvd Crack into the game´s folder (i.e. C:\Program files\ Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion) but when I press the PLAY button a message prompts out saying:

"Falied to Initialize renderer. NixAdapterDesc::GetDeviceCaps()failed"

Does Anyone knows how to fix this? I'll appreciate it so much!

The game does work, would recommend getting at least a Geforce 7600 if you want DECENT game play. Have at least 2 gigs of good RAM and THIS IS A FANTASTIC MODDING GAME!! BE SURE YOU MOD THE **** OUT OF THIS GAME BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL JUST PLAINN SUCKS!!!!!!! overall.. id give it 98/100 TOTALY AWESOME!!

I guess is my Processor, I read that the game needs 2GHz as min. =( so sad!

Your problem is probably your S3 graphics chip - you really need an nvidia or ati card before oblivion will work, and a recent one at that!

I am getting the blink32w.dll problem, and i am unable to figure out how to fix it, do i need to redownload the crack? or is there something else i need to do?

i have some problems installing. there is always a crc error reading data6.cab.
i just mounted the The.Elder.Scrolls.IV.Oblivion.part01.daa and tried to install - don't know what to do ...

Please do throw it in the microwave and then goto the store and buy a copy of the game since your too dumb to figure it out. Im totally amazed at how people can get a error message about bink32w.dll and not be able to figure it out. Here is a clue, find the bink codec and install it... how freaking easy is that!? Or, find bink32w.dll and put it in the oblivion folder.

It turns out the whole game was corrupt, it was missing some vital ish, but gracias for replying, or maybe it was my grafics card???? The game also told me to f*** off as soon as I pressed play in the autorun menu, that hideous little box that says "this program experienced an error and needs to shut down... Send error report : Don't send error report" popped up while the oblivion music pla **** in the background. I'm not sure what all that was about...

One more thing, does Oldblivion work? A little bird said that it sometimes does, but everyone I meet that has it doesn't know how to make it go...

I need help, I downloaded the torrent, i installed and replace the no-dvd crack, i want to play but then i got a window with an error (that is not specified)
My Laptop is Dell, "Inspiron 9400" and it has, Video:Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family, Memory:1Gb RAM, Processor:Intel Centrino Duo (). Does anyone know what may be???

1) down load daemon tools
2)download game
3)put the game into daemon tools and install
4)after install take crack (giving in download) and replace it with the original
5)keep program in daemon tools and play

I was downloading the torrent, and for my connection it was going at a decent clip. A few more days of agonizing wait and I would enter Tamriel. Well, today when I came back to my computer I found my host parents (i'm in brasil) had turned off utorrent. I opened it up, and there was no torrent open. "Blast" thought I "they've cancelled it instead of paused." To my surprise I found that a complete 4.16 Gig folder of Oblivion was right where it should be. But I had left my computer not two hours before at 20% dl.
Now I find that when I open the .daa files in PowerISO, it gives me the multiple file message, but also Oblivion is shown as being 0 MB even though the constituent files are both over 2 Gig.

Question shortened: Does uTorrent or this site make non completed torrents look the completed size?

Quick update on my problem. The error message comes back "It was not possible to read compressed image file."
But...it isn't in any sort of zip or rar file. Just a normal .daa

More news. I got into my .daa files using 7zip and extracted the files with file types .part01 and .part02.
However, trying to open these in PowerISO yeilds the same compressed file error message. It indeed does ask me to open multiple files, however displays none even if I say yes.

I put the part1 and part2 files into one unified .daa file of my own making and am burning it to a DVD in faint hopes that it will help my situation.

Ok, i've downloaded the thing and was following the directions posted by Darksoul117. I got the error called (blink32w.dll) like a few people. One suggestion was to download the blink file that is missing but i can't find it. Has anyone here found a way around this error or knows an alternet place to download this game? plz post =D

After getting all the problems there was with this game i just pla **** around with the files and everytring and i figured it out works like a charm now. Ok first of all what i did when i got the binkw32.dll error i uninstalled it and reinstalled it. And for people that get the send error report message while trying to start the game, download OLDBLIVION, it helps run the program and yes it does work. And for the people who can play but it crashes when ur exiting the sewers you got to download the patch 1.1. That patch fixes that bug and a few more, including the problem of peoples saves being deleted. If your games run but is laggy, u need to tune the settings down a bit, lower the resolution, and put the fade and distance and all of that to low. So that would fix it hopefully, if any 1 else has problems just submit a comment and ill try to help

oh i forgot to say, if u still get the crashes even after the u installed the patch, it may be because a HP device is running and that crashes the game. So just go to task manager and process and exit all the programs that start with HP, or the crashes could be because of a 'mpeg2dmx.ax'. So u got to search that file (if u have it) and change it to "mpeg2dmx.ax.old"

What works better for this game directX 10 or DirectX 9

1 downloaded the file Nocrack dvd

2 Next I installed Power iso

3 I click on the downloaded file Part1 this brings me up with a message cant not read compressed image file . I press ok. This brings me to poweriso saying : “you are trying to open a multiple volumes DAA file
Poweriso will open the first volume and read the data from all volumes automatically”
I click on ok

This brings files up : autorun – 1kb
Data1
Data 2
Data 3
Data 4

4. I extract all the files shown into a different destination folder like instructed

This is where the problem starts
I try to open these files using winrar and it comes up with the message

“the achieve is either in unknown format or damaged”

Please I do get any further I cannot install the game.

The reloaded file is there I run that and then that comes up with “this appilacation has failed to start because binkw32.dll was not found re-installing the application may fix the problem”

Its as easy as this:

1. Download the torrent
2. Download POWER ISO (if u already dont have it)
3. Mount it
4. Install
5. Play (for some reason i didnt have to make a crack or anything, i just installed and pla **** , patches and everything.

Mount means that that when you have Power Iso running or Daemon tools in your system tray. Right click them. There shpould be something that looks like a smiley face and says "No Media, or "No Image" u iglight it then it should say "mount image..." click it

then find the file u wish to start up.

and for some reason after i got it workring(i pla **** it for a couple of hours) i retarted my comp and POWER ISO wouldnt start the program, it was wierd, and i got the Blinwk error or what ever its called, can someone help me?

I have another question, it's probably a stupid one and is off the topic of this torrent, but last night the torrent was goin at 24kb/s for its down rate and when i woke up this morning(I let it go through the night) it was going 0kb/s down rate and same with the upload rate and instead of there being 80 peers and 64 seeds there was 0 peers and 0 seeds, is there anything i can possibly do to stop this from happening everytime i download it over night?

ok nvrm i figured it out, all i had to do was right click the patch file "oblivion.exe" and click extract to c:program files (whatever) where oblivion is, and it says if u wanna replace this with this and you click yes. and BAM instant oblivion without a cd :D

I have had all the same problems listed above and gotten past them, simple problem now i'm guessing is because I placed the no-cd crack where it should be before installing the patch to overcome the sewer-exit crashing. if som,eone could help me do i just need to reinstall then patch then add the cd crack to get it working properly or is this a whole other problem?

**** o for the binkw32 file I did get same error but heres what u are doing wrong you putting it in the oblivion file that u extracted not the program file-bethseda works-oblivion file.

so put the oblivion.exe files in programs-bethseda works-oblivion

Im having the same sort of problem as gamergman, except, i have it all installed i got the crack in the folder and when i click on oblivion, it goes to the launcher, i choose play, then a little window in the top left corner of my screen opens up and is title oblivion, but it just stays there and after like 5 mins i hit ctrl alt delete and it's frozen, does anybody have any idea what i can do?

Well 1 thing is that you shouldnt use the original crack use one from gameburnworld or another crack site, cause if you do you;l get some graphical errors or crashes

I Downloaded this and useing Darksouls guide it worked great, But i cant download patches for it since the game is a PowerISO file and not an EXE..... Is there a torrent for the patches too?

You can download patches, before u install the crack for this game, go to the site and download the patch and install it then put in the crack

Says its missing blinkw32.dll. Anyway i downloaded that from some google site. and now its coming up with a different error saying that .dll just downloaded was missing some other crap.
I just cant be bothered with it anymore ive tried so much.
What a waste of downloads. If anyone finds out what i can do let me know.

I got the crack and replaced. Nice job of making it "easy," idiots.

Used oldblivion-guess what happened? NOTHING.

I used a different crack from gameburnworld-----NOTHING.

All this because I broke my original CD.....

anyone got a frickin clue as to why the **** I keep getting an error? I don't get any of that blinky stuff, just ERRORS.

at least try patching it, that may help, or update your video card driver...
or maybe you just don't have a video card in the computer ur installing it in

I've installed Oblivion and it runs. The thing is that it lags every half a minute or so and that never happened when I was playing it before.
Anyone has an idea on the matter? Is it because of the settings or anything else?
