Actually i'm able 2 continue after dat..
But then when i open SQL Plus, and enter username nd password it shows an error
Firstly, Oracle 9i is available at Oracle.com for FREE. Please follow this link:

That was Oracle 9i for Windows only.
Secondly, the username and password is scott and tiger respectively. The third field is supposed to be the same name that you entered while installing. Its called global database or something like that.
Lastly, you need at least 256 MB (or 512 MB RAM) or higher. Still, it does slow down the machine.

Its the default..
The uninstallation process is not good n some files n registries stays even after complete uninstalllation.
It also slows down the machine..Bt cant help..
