can anybody tell me why this file is so big, wii games shouln´t all be around 4Gb

i can play smg does that means that i can´t play this one neither?

The CD is recognized, i can create the save file. But after I always get an error Can't read disc.

Does anybody have the same problem?

It's larger than 4GB because it's a dual layer image...

you must first update your Wii to 3.2 before you can play ssbb so that your wii won´t get brick if you have pal wii. Then use regiofree on the ISO to make it to PAL. Start up ImgBurn and go to Tools->Settings...->Write->Layer Break->User Specified and enter 2084960. Burn the game to a DVD+R DL and then you will let the game update to 100% and it won´t brick your wii because you have 3.2.

my wii can read the game but when it start the game a black screen appears and it tells me to eject the game and turn off the wii. I already have the latest upgrade and a moded ntsc wii. Can somebody pls help me

For people with US-NTSC Wii, Update your wii to 3.2U firmware. Burn the ISO file to DVD-DL. Lets the update run 100%. And ENJOY!!

Memorex DVD-DL doesn't work for me, I get the white screen that say: Disc cannot be read.

You don't need to use the break layer option in ImgBurn with US/NTSC wii

Normaly I use Nero too, but for this one, I burn it with Imgburn.

ok I got SSBB to work now but i downloaded a dvd5 version of this and when the game starts i switch the game with this dl version. The only problem i found so far is the video clips in mercenaries mode never changes it's always the on with zelda and that princess from mario. ok tnx i will try Imgburn.

Do you need a Wii Mod chip for all of this to work ppl???

fedoathome si se te cuelga en la intro es porque se te cuelga en todos los videos, vas a tener problemas para jugar single player.

Proba copiandolo en otra marca de DVD, yo habia usado un verbatim y me pasaba lo mismo que avos, use un sony y estuvo todo bien.

with backup loader 0.3 gamma + starfall with anti-update/brick on firmware 3.2U

!TIPS FOR Wii GAMES!

To play Wii backups you need to softmod OR modchip the Wii:

Softmod is hacking your Wii with computer files and it can be dangerous and harm the Wii permanently so extra care is required. You need SD card of maximum 2 gigs & SD card reader to format & transfer files in the Wii + Original copy of Zelda Twilight Princess (so you must buy or rent it) to apply the "Twilight Hack" a special savegame to be able to install the "Homebrew channel" to after install a backup loader + launcher. Check out wii brew dot org & wii hacks dot com for tutorials & instructions.

In Modchip stores you have many options: you can buy a modded Wii, new dvd drive with modchip, the chips alone to solder, or a solderless chip that is safest & easier to install. This will void warranty. Find a trusted store because some chips are fake. This is safest way to play backup.

Should I get NTSC or PAL?
Important! North America = NTSC Europe = PAL. Don't get games from the other region it can be dangerous. For north america, search for games with the words: USA, NTSC, NTSC-U, PAL-NTSC (pal to ntsc conversion) For the rest, search for games with the words: PAL, NTSC-PAL (ntsc to pal conversion), NTSC-J (japan only)

How to burn the games?
The Wii drive is very picky with the brand of DVD you use. Use quality DVD-R like Verbatim, Sony...I use Fujifilm because it work best for me. DVD+R is not recommended. Use a program like Imgburn (free) and load the iso file to burn it. Burn at speed 4x MAXIMUM, 2X recommended. For those without multicore CPU, shutdown all programs and don't use computer when burning.
