although I have some problems with updating..
first it went ok, but later when I had to restart it said: Your not protected, check the following components:

so my anti-virus is not up-to-date; but there are no updates anymore :S
my anti-spyware is not up-to-date; also no updates
and my webshield and residence shield are not active, but when I want to activate them, I click on OK but nothing happens :S that counts also for apply!

please help...

dose not install and wont uninstall and has a virus in it dont downlload if you do its at ur own risk

i have unistalled 7.5 free and tried installing this 8 version, i have even done a complete computer format and this is what im getting.. go figure.

People who commented about inability to update , AVG corporation does not support updates for unauthorized versions it also uploads some sort of virus on their PCs among the second updates , so my
personal experience is use another anti-virus pro , or use avg 8 free and it's really good enough.

did not Install, Installation Failed. I did try many times but was failed.

ok 1 week into a fresh install and in any and every install of everything the lnk extensions are failing to install because of this download.

**** it downloaded it dont work. If you go to the grisoft website http://www.grisoft.com/ww.download?prd=triais you can download this as a trial then enter key from download and activate you get until 01/12/2008 licence

When you download this program be sure 2 uninstall avg free edition and CLEAN up your cookies, cache, registry etc.

It should work without that annoying error

I remember downloading this a while ago and it worked great but now,while installing again, everything goes fine until the end when it tries to initialize it. It stops and then rolls back whatever it already intalled. I think its because of the key that's provided, it doesnt work anymore.

IT can not be installed on service back 3 of windows xp.....Tried to install it so many times on the service back 3 but it did not work except on service back 2.

hey guyz don't download this file....

i knew how to remove it completely from computer
1. uninstall
2. open run and type in regedit
3. in HKEY_LOCAL_MAHCHINE / SOFTWARE/ AVG
4. RIGHT CLICK ON AVG and delete
5. that's all
