i installed it and mounted the image with daemon but when i try to play it there only appears an image of a bridge...i absolutely don't know what to do next...does anobody knows? thanks

Did you replace the original SimCity 4.exe file with the 'Cracked' version?

I downloaded and installed using DAEMON Tools, no problems, everything went smooth.

You realise that is a link to a Sim City Societies patch and not a Sim City 4 patch ?

FIX FOUND:

Ok guys, I followed the instruction, it didn't work. Why? The file was being recognized as a shortcur when transfered over. Solution?

RIGHT CLICK ON THE CRACK IN CRCK DIRECTORY, SEND TO, MAKE .ZIP FOLDER, OPEN WITH WINRAR, PLACE IN APP DIRECTORY IN MAXIS/SIM CITY 4

I had the same problem as all of you.

1.I think the .exe file is outside of the actual game folder,

OR..

2.you can go to gamecopyworld . com & they have a patch that works.

I followed the instruction given in the zipped folder..
1. Download DAEMON Tools: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5

I DID THAT.

2. Mount sc4d_a.iso file in DAEMON Tools

I DID THIS TOO


3. Install - when it asks for disk 2, mount sc4d_b.iso in DAEMON Tools and press OK

DID THIS TOO

4. Copy the file in "Crack" folder to C:Program FilesMaxisSimCity 4 DeluxeApps (folder name may vary depending on where you installed the game) and replace the old file

I COPIED THE SIMCITY 4 FILE FROM "CRACK" AND OPENED UP THE APP FOLDER IN "C:Program FilesMaxisSimCity 4 DeluxeApps" I PRESSED PASTE..IT ASKED ME TO COPY AND REPLACE, COPY AND KEEP BOTH FILES OR DONT COPY. I CLICKED COPY AND REPLACED. AFTER THIS IT ASKED ME FOR ADMIN PERMISSION I GAVE THE PERMISSION AND IT CONTINUED AND THEN IT GAVE ME AN ERROR SAYING "THE ACTION CANT BE COMPLETED BECAUSE THE FILE IS OPEN IN ANOTHER PROGRAM, CLOSE THE FILE AND TRY AGAIN."

i have no clue as to what to do, because nothing is opened. so i tried glef's method above..

i right clicked to make a zipped file from it..i opened it with win rar, i saw a "SimCity 4.exe" file in it..i right clicked it and chose "extract to specified folder" i went on c drive--program files--maxis--simcity 4--apps and apps was highlighted. and i pressed "ok" a screen popped which said:
"The following file already exists
SimCity 4.exe
would you like to replace the existing file"
i clicked yes
and another screen popped open(WinRAR Diagnostic Messages) which read:
(Exclamation triangle) C:UsersAmanDesktopNew FolderSimCity 4 Deluxe + CrackCrackSimCity 4.zip: Cannot create SimCity 4.exe"
(Exclamation triangle) Access Is Denied.

I don't know where i went wrong, but here is the detailed problem. Any help

Once you actually have the game installed and ready to add the patch, open the folder where you installed the game on your computer(C:program files) whatever, right click on the simcity4.exe icon and change the name. simcity41.exe for example. can be anything. it will ask for permission, just confirm, you wont harm anything. DONT TRY TO RUN IT THOUGH

Now to add the patch

Open the CRACK folder, their will be a simcity4.exe
paste this into the folder where you changed the name of the other simcity4.exe(C:program files)

You can delete the simcity41.exe if you want or just leave it.

For the ones who get stuck on a BRIDGE frame after installation:
Close the process using task manager, replace the installed SimCity 4.exe by the cracked one.
exec it and enjoy!!!!
