I hope this one works, because I downloaded another torrent and each time I tried to start the game, it hangs up, and you get nice blue screen to look at for a few seconds before the computer reboots.

Got some new information about the torrent (all the No-CD cracks actually). As soon as you access the Galaxy Map, the game goes black. Apparently the crack is causing this, so you only get to play about 2 hours or so. You can only save in the beginning part of the game too.

So after you download, wait for a new crack release. They sure f*cked something up.

so, is the setup ok? installs ok? and crack is only buggin' or??, cmon so i can start download!!!!

ice1701: Yep, the torrent works (or should, I'm at 49%), but the crack doesn't. So download and install and just wait for a crackfix.

is this in italian too? is it the european 5 languages version?

the game doesnt evens tart...the logos come on then it says press any key and wen ii do it crashes saying 'general protection fault' x( yo reloaded! we need u to finish ur crack man! this unfinished unworking crack is the result of this stupid nuke war

i dloaded and the game was working. Then I got to the part when you have to use the galaxy map for the first time and the map didn't show, also had the save game problem... Everyone is saying that the problem is the crack is bad. I would just like to know if this is really true cuz after all its better to just dload the crack and not the whole thing again...

So could a new crack really fix these problems..?

The problem is the crack not the game, if you had a genuine cd key you could use this game with no crack and it would work fine. The retail version doesn't require the DVD, it authenticates your cd key over the internet every 10 days to make sure your a game owner. Part of what these cracks do is make the game not do anything over the internet so you can use the keygen and not have the game find out later on.

If you can't wait for a PROPER,Uber.PROPER, Still.more.Uber.PROPER, Completely.Fixed.good.and.working.PROPER-Crackfix, just buy the game.

If the "general protection fault" message appears in front of your screen after you copied the crack file, try running the game as administrator. At least that´s how i solved the problem on windows vista.

do what frs00 said and run as administrator. then when it loads, it will "freeze" and the sceen will go black. just let it sit for as long as it needs, mine is around 2 minutes. then it will work perfect. good luck

for those havin trouble wit the serial number, there's a key generator in the crack folder after u mount the .iso image using Daemon Tools or that other crap program. jus open up "mass effect" that appears on one of the drives and look for the "crack" folder. hope that helps. there's only 2 files in that folder so it should b easy to find.
anyway, it seems i'm runnin into crack problems and i ain't talkn cocaine either. the screen turns black everytime i get to a certain part of the game. it's the part where john shepard gets sent out into the field for the first time......gamecopyworld.com hasn't been of any help so i'm runnin outta options. and no, i ain't buyin the game. i'm gonna try those 2 comments up there that mentions the piratebay.org and the google search. i'll give feedback later

The "working Crack" on TPB linked in the comment above works perfectly.

1) Update your graphics card drivers. I faced a number of annoying random lockups and crashes until I updated my Nvidia drivers to the latest version.

2) "F6" is your best friend. The game has several bugs, so save often. Before elevators, before fights.

3) The galaxy map and the game work well with the crack above, but KEEP your original .exe! There will be a patch coming out soon, and you'll NEED to patch the game to fix all the bugs.

4) AWESOME GAME! Finished it, and actually want to play it again now!

ok, there is a really annoyin bug despite the "workin" crack. yea, the crack works to an extent, however sumtimes when a weapon overheats it doesn't cooldown and it stays locked unless u load a previous saved file. it's super **** .....anyone else have this problem?

Same here. As soon as the heat level reaches maximum, it stays at maximum and the weapon becomes unusable.

guys i have a serious problem. when i start the game, the mouse goes like crazy. the settings menu seems to be bugged.i have used many cracks and downloaded latest drivers for mouse graphics card etc.

Ok so considering I get that crack posted a few comments above, will the game work fine. And I'll also get the patch, if there is one.

My computer specs are good enough for this game.

I just don't want to download 7Gb and it won't even work properly, so help appreciated. Because on TPB user comments are all negative.

I downloaded the torrent. now I have all the rar files (7.2 GB)
I dnt see any Setup.exe. How do i Install this.
Please help. I am new to downloading torrent. I opned this torrent using Bittirrent.
Tell me how to install this game after torrent has downloaded completely?

Even after reading pretty much everything that's posted here, I still can't get the game to launch. I cannot use the masseffect.exe since I'm getting an error message talking about missing dynamics with binkw32.dll. When I start the game using the shortcut icon, I get a message saying that I must enter the correct serial key, since the one I have isn't right. I tried getting another crack, and with this one there's simply nothing happening when I use the masseffect.exe; it does get in my list of process but diseappear after a second.

Does anyone have a solution?
