Stevenson is a brilliant Frank Castle, the guy is a tank in this movie, shredding through his opposition just like a on screen manifestation of the character should. The critics complaining about the gore prove them unfit in being tasked with stepping anywhere near the film with a pencil and paper, doling out stars or thumbs.

While Im afraid the film will not get the critical recognition it deserves, with the majority of critics not understanding the character, I as a fan of Castle say I'm thoroughly pleased by the work the entire cast and crew have put forth.

While I agree that the movie was loyal to the source material and worth my dollars, there was one main area I think should have been retooled.

Jigsaw and Jim's accent is over the top, and in the end took away from the character, especially in the case of Jim.

At a glance

Pros: Unapologetically Punisher Level Brutality Stevenson is a compelling Frank Castle Movie pacing is great

Cons: Cliché accents Could have used some more dialogue from Frank

Overall: 8/10

Bottom Line: If you are a punisher fan, you're in for a blast

Downloading isnt too slow. Many Tranmission users btw. I got 200kbp/s.

Good quality, good audio. Pretty kickass movie too.

Is it just me or are the subtitles completely messed up, I mean, there are moments when it fits in terms of the dialogue being spoken but for the most part, its complete jibberish

Okay you all say 10/10 but for me the audio actually sounds like the camera is being held underwater, the video is great but as far as converting with divx so that I can play on my big screen TV but it wont work. Does anyone know how to fix this ????? This is the 2nd movie from FXM that has done this in 2 days for me.

Help or I'll just have to go back to axxo

basically I just use divx to transfer the files onto a usb and then plug into the ps3 and have no problems but both movies I have d'loaded from FXM have failed with the audio. Why question my computer skills and try to insult me??

How about some help instead,since it's already divx then there shouldnt be any problems playing it .... Break it down for me what do I need then to bust it out so I can watch it properly??

what do u mean u use divx to transfer to usb? divx is a file format, not a transfer program. obviously ur ps3 doesnt support ac3 filtering. i question your computer skills because u dont explain things properly, so either u dont know what ur talking about or u have little knowledge of computers.

ok, obviously its only ps3 users that are having this trouble. do any of u know how to setup a upnp server? all i can suggest that u do is download a program called tversity. use this program to stream to your ps3 and it will transcode the file to the appropriate format for ur ps3. and instead of relying on us to fix ur stupid problems, why dont u take some initiative and figure it out for urself? 1. cos u either cant be bothered or 2. u dont know what ur looking for. well, if u dont know what ur looking for or u cant be bothered, stop coming here and slagging off something thats worked perfectly for everyone else thats used it. i've been working with divx and avi files for years, and its not hard to find some relevant information anywhere ur willing to look. why dont u google: PS3 +cant play avi, maybe u'll find something useful.
but then again, maybe thats too much trouble. :P

for those of you with audio problems, try downloading "ffdshow". should help. if you are playing it through your PS3, try using a media server instead of a usb drive. windows media player has a media server function, i've had trouble in the past with it tho. i recommend TVersity Media Server. it's super fast and will transcode all your video files on the fly to avoid any problems. with ffdshow and TVersity, you can't go wrong.

Dude i know kb/s is the download speed. I was angry that this is the first time im downloading with 9 kb/s. My regular download speed is 250 kb/s.

Ok... I watched the movie yesterday...

Iwould rate is a 5/10...not good at all,actually very disappointing!

Low cost actors and they've changed the story line from number 1

Very poor audio,on my surround sound i will normally watch a movie from axxo at a volume level of about 23...this movie i had to watch at volume level 49 !!

The visual is good but story isn't great !

They should have kept the original frank castle but they didn't have the rights for the movie as that's why it's called Punisher War Zone and not Punisher 2!

Don't get to excited about downloading this movie, nothing great!
