I had a problem recording music from websites. I ended up using two cables. One from my green front speaker connection to my speakers and one to my orange line in plug.
I used Microsoft Sound Mapper in optionsprefrencesaudio buffered at .20 to sync the two.
Keep your sound vol on med to record without distortion.
Works on Vista 64 bit.
