i did copy the .dal file to destination folder, copied the trial to the destination folder and started installation (suppose i did it right, because it didn't ask for a serial as it does when there is no .dal file). i also copied the dk-patch.exe to the destination folder and started it but i get errors telling me, that there are no such commands as taskkill and net
then it tries to copy some files -> system can't find path
after all: i start diskeeper and of course it wants to be activated... what am i doing wrong?
There's no working crack (that last at least) for this program. You can crack like that but eventually it will require activation. Sad, because this is the best defrag program ever. If anynone knows another way to crack this PLEASE reply here!
WTF ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?? the DK-patch worked fine on my Vista Ultimate 64-bit version. Here's what you do: Assuming you've already copied the license file to the program files\diskeeper corporation\diskeeper folder that you HAVE TO CREATE and ran the install. IT SHOULD NOT ASK FOR A SERIAL, if so you didn't copy the license file to the right folder. After you click Finish on the installer, wait until the popup comes and says you need to Activate, click Activate Later. DO NOT run Diskeeper yet. Open up the Services window or go to the "Start search" at the bottom of the Start menu and type services.msc. Scroll down to the Diskeeper Service and Stop it, go run the DK-Patch and it will work!
IMPORTANT! When installing in XP x86, you do the same above, but DO NOT stop the service.
downloaded it twice - both times - when attempting to install, it says corrupted. Pity this is a great program and I have had zero luck downloading this program as most versions expire after a month
