This is my second Gears of war download...the First one i downloaded was in Spanish...(I understand and speak spanish but it kills the story when u hear people talkin like mexicans (no offense)) Im almost done installing this one...Total download time 52 hours. And im seeding for u people but not for long.



EDIT: CONFIRMED...THIS TORRENT IS REAL...ENGLISH AND WORKING. EaZyCorp Honor....No online play though but if u have a LAN u can Co Op in ur house with another PC. Which is cool..But no Online play unless u have the Serial number to the game :-(

When I try to play it, it's asking for the DVD, should I use magic iso and burn it to a dvd, and if so I need a double layer dvd right? I already extracted and installed using magic iso.

Just mouted it and everytime I install it I get a fatal error, some map is missing, it tells me to make sure the file is there and clikc OK, did it and didn't work. I might have to download it again, that sux because it took me like 5 days to download it the first time.

Is anyone else having trouble with the startup.exe? Whenever I start it, it asks me to install drivers for my processor, I installed them and it continues to tell me that I don't have them.

If you max out all the settings on the game with max graphics I get sharply 28 to 32 Frames per second.
If i lower everything down to lowest wit a resolution of 800X600 I get 65 FPS

You better have a PC that can Run this game smootly people.

the game isn't starting up for me. i copied and pasted the startup.exe file from the dvd image to the game directory but every time i try to open it it gives me an error message. and yes, my dvd image is mounted with daemon tools. does anyone know what's wrong?

I have a quick question... I have a NVIDIA GeForce MX 420 card and I was wondering if I needed to update it to play GoW and if so... how do I update it....

when the game installation starts i select the drive and kept the {Run Game After Installation and Install fort all users} ON

after that the installation window doesnt show up

and i checked the folder which i was going to install it was empty nothing was getting copied but the setup was still running when i saw "Windows task manager" What Should i do Please help

I have seen gears of war run on a NX8600 GT no overclocking, 3.4ghz D processor, and 512mb ram, Luckly i have identical setup apart from 3gb of ram, dying to play it but last 10% is taking an absolute age, anyone know any more trackers i can add to the list speed things up

well guys, this game is awesome , and simple to install & play.

FOLLOWING R THE INSTALLATION STEPS:
1) Use any virtual drive software to mount this .iso image. (i am using daemon tool)
2) Install the game. It required 12GB free disk space. and after installation it use only 10GB
disk space.
3) Now copy "setup.exe" from Razor1911 folder & paste it in "?:\Gears Of War\Binaries\".
(?=your drive, where u install the game)
4) Now enjoy the game. Remember keep your hardware drivers up to date. (like processor, gfx card, main board & sound card drivers)

Many people says that this game is too heavy to play & required high end machine.
BUT
Don't be afraid, this can be pla **** on medium gaming machine.
I play this game with all HIGH settings & on 1280x1024 resolution. and i got 25 to 29 fps. & 35 to 43 fps with medium setting & on 1024x768.

AND my PC configuration is--------
-AMD Athlon 4200+ 64 x2 dual core processor.
-Nvidia 6600GT 256 MB DDR3 gfx card.
-ASUS A8N-E Main Board.
-Kingstone 1GB(512x2MB) DDR 400Mhz ram. (512x2MB ram give me dual channel support & give me
better performance than single 1GB ram.
-160GB SATA HDD. ya 1 think i 4got 2 tell u that, this game is installed in my external ATA HDD, which have only 4200rpm. If i installed it on SATA than it gave me more better performance. I am using 2GB of virtual memory.

i have an intel pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz, 1.5 GB RAM, Radeon X1950 Pro agp 8x, and yet this game still lags a bunch. anyone have similar problems or know how to fix them? crysis and call of duty 4 run perfect compared to this. i even put most of the video settings to low. the game's definitely real though and doesn't crash at all.
