It had no subtitles! I watched the whole movie and had no idea what anyone was saying.

yup no subtitled, didn't finish the movie because i dont understand anything except when Brad and Kate were talking..

lol. what a pack of retards. the movie sucks anyway... no oscar for you brad-should have stuck with "the departed".

download subtitle from abysubs.com , put both the avi file and subtitle file in same folder , name both the file same , example if u r watching departed then name files as departed.avi (movie file)and second one departed.srt (subtitle file), and play it in wmp or vlc or media player classic , u "ll get subtitle displ ****

i dont understand exactly how to play the subtitles, can someone please help me step by step! i really want to watch this movie, please help. i already follow the two hints posted already, im just not getting it!

honorjay, All you have to do is have the movie named Babel.avi and the subtitles(will be the very small file named babel) named Babel.srt. Make sure that they are in the same folder. Then all you have to do is open the movie with Windows Media Player. Then the subtitles will play. Hope that helps. Good Luck.

trjohnson1987, I tried the subtitle method and it didn't work at all.

really cool movie indeed, one of the best this year, a note on subs, all u need to do is load the movie then load the .srt file in the same manner.....player will do the rest, OR...load movie then drag n drop the .srt file onto the players interface when the movie starts....nb...some players do not support subs, po **** r ones that do are bs player, vlc & KM player & zoom player...njoi
