If you are having the "Insert Disk" error do the following:
a) Using 7-zip or WinRAR to extract the .iso file and run the setup from the extracted files
b) Mount the .iso file using Deamon Tools, and then copy all the files to a folder on your hard drive. Then run the setup from there.

Both these solutions do the same thing, copy all the files to your hard drive, where you can then run the "setup.exe" file and install this app.

Look in the crack folder for installation / activation guide.

i keep getting the error insert disk i have deamon tools run the image and have the disk inserted what's the problem ????

The steps to install is just as same as Pandaking's instruction above, but THE EAISEST WAY TO GET IT INSTALL IS: ALL STEPS NEED TO BE DONE ON YOUR INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE !

1. USING "WINRAR" PROGRAM TO EXTRACT ALL .RAR FILE "acad_2k9_win32.r00 48 Mb
acad_2k9_win32.r01 48 Mb
acad_2k9_win32.r02 48 Mb
acad_2k9_win32.r03 48 Mb
acad_2k9_win32.r04 48 Mb, acad_2k9_win32.r05 48 Mb,....., AND acad_2k9_win32.rar 48 Mb"

2. WHEN YOU EXTRACT 23 FILES ABOVE YOU WILL GET EXACTLY THE SAME 23 NEW FOLDER IN SAME NAME BUT THESE NEW FOLDER ARE UNCOMPRESSION. YOU HAVE TO UNCOMPRESS THESE FILE TO GET The ISO image file of Autocad which is about size of 1.58 GB. TO DO THIS, JUST SIMPLY double CLICK ON WHATEVER ".RAR" FILE, THE WINRAR PROGRAM WILL RUN AND SHOW YOU the .ISO image AUTOCAD FILES which name "acad_2k9_win32.ISO", THEN JUST CLICK "EXTRACT", THE WINRAR WILL AUTOMATIC EXTRACT this ISO image.

4. WHEN EXTRACTING PROCESS IS DONE. YOU will have the new folder name "acad_2k9_win32" which contain only the ISO image of AutoCAD name "acad_2k9_win32.ISO" inside. Now, you are almost done. One more step is to use whatever softs like MagicISO, PowerISO, or WinRAR to extract this ISO image file to your hard drive. and then, you got what you want.

5. ALL THE THINGS YOU NEED IS IN THE NEW EXTRACTING F

The answer is YES.

JUST SIMPLY EASY THAT AFTER YOU HAVE AN NEW EXTRACTING FOLDER IN MY STEP 5.

USE NERO, ROXIO, OR WHATEVER DVD RECORDIING SOFT TO MAKE "DATA DVD" THAT MEAN YOU WRITE EVERTHING IN THE AUTOCAD FOLDER ON DVD AS DATA DISC.

i did something before i read the posts. when i got the insert dvd error.. i directly installed from the x86 folder the using the msi file.. i am using vista. now when i try to open the program it crashes. is it because of the method i used or some other issue. i am goin to try the method suggested here on another pc. keeping fingers crossed. hope it does not crash.

I kept having problems with activating. It would activate, then just keep prompting me to activate over and over again. I think it may have been a conflict with a previous version of AutoCAD 2006 that was installed. The solution was to delete the c:ProgramDataAutodesk folder, then reactivate.

I found the install instructions a bit confusing thou. If it helps anyone this is how i did it:

1. Extract the iso image
2. Burn the iso to a disk
3. Copy the contents of the disk to your hard drive in a new folder
4. Read "Install.txt" in the crack directory
5. Run setup.exe from the hard drive

its actually pretty easy to do.

let me explain.

extract all .01 .02 etc files into one .iso file.

mount this file using daemon

extract all of these files from the .iso file into a new folder on the desktop

run setup.exe from this folder

install it with the product key of 000-00000000

install the material library, good to have.

after install click finish

open autocad 2009 on desktop

select activate the product

click on the "paste activation code" or whatever code it is, but it says paste.

at the top, copy the code xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx into the keygen provided into the crack folder.

click generate

copy that newley generated code into the box where u can paste it.

at the top where there is a serial number field

(xxx-xxxxxxxx)

type in

666-98989898

and click activate or register or OK or w/e it is.

ur done. dont even have to restart autocad.

the error i kept making was trying to install from an external hard drive.

once i extracted the iso into a folder on my DESKTOP and then ran setup, everything went smoothly.

the crack works perfectly too.
