Cuz this works totally fine for me. Not a single lag or anything since I installed it! :)
And if you can start the game, and the problem is that it´s laggy, I bet it got something to do with "you". Maybe install new 3D drivers or something? Good luck! :)

You're not suppose to put it directly in the the mounted Virtual CD/DVD-ROM if this is the case though. You have to put in the destinated folder you have installed it. Like this: My Computer - C: Drive - Program Files - Tomb Raider Anniversary folder.
