After you burn it, you must restart your computer with the disk INSIDE. If it isn't inside, then it will start with whatever OS you have on your computer (Windows). If you have the disk inside and it still doesn't boot with your disk, then hold the ESC button when you see the BIOS start-up screen until it gives you the option to boot from the disk. If THAT doesn't work, then you may have to configure your BIOS so that when you hold ESC, you will be given the option to boot up with your disk. If that doesn't work, I would say you're **** ed as far as bootable disks are concerned, or you didn't burn your disk the right way.
I will say now, IT HAS TO BE A CLEAN INSTALL OF WINDOWS XP!!!!
I use previous version of windows black and i love it! runs much faster and smoother!
Anyways, when you write that it has to be clean install... do you mean information might be lost in other partition? e.g. i have C and D on the same hard disk, i might lose what's in D ?:/
And do you is it possible to make a boot usb with windows black? (maybe even without all that software package?) my usb is just 1,8gb.
i need to install it on notebook which has no cd-rom and i don't want to buy external just for win instalation.
