People, you don't get more paranoid than a security freak like me. I have EIGHT -- that's right, eight -- top-rated anti-virus security systems, both on-line and off-line, and regularly updated at that. I'm not even counting my various anti-malware/anti-spyware and heavy-duty firewall measures (and other security tools) which include their own respective virus scanners. I have them all on a separate, locked-down OS mounted on external RAID 0/1 drives. And yes, I'm thinking about adding more "capabilities" to this powerhouse system.

So people, believe me when I say, this release is definitely NOT infected. If you simply don't wanna believe me, that's fine with me too. It's not like you're paying me for my advice, you know. So it's your loss.

BTW, the following information can be considered as a future reference to aspiring security freaks (especially the naive ones out there). Many--if not most--patches, keygens and other similar tools are now registered and labeled by software companies as trojans, malware, PUPs or with other similar "hazardous" terms. Their reasoning behind this is that since these tools are originally created and used by crackers and pirates, then they must be considered harmful to everyone else. Now, as flawed as this logic is, there really are bad stuff out there, so use your common sense.

Those of you saying it's infected with a trojan are idiots. Cracks, keygens, activation patches, etc, ARE VIRUSES. Doesn't mean they'll harm you. Some virus scanners pick up these types of programs as Trojans but they are completely safe. This torrent works and the keygen works nicely. Don't be alarmed.

Hey, wondered if anyone could help me out with the install, I've opened the files with PowerISO, then ran the set-up, choosing to extract it first.
Then when I've extracted the folder, I click the setup.exe and it asks whether to allow it, click yes, then it pops up with a loading bar window which disappears before doing anything.
Any help?

can somone post the serial number? the keygen isent working for me. but in other news there are no trojan in it and it installs fine but i need a serial number. i tr **** by phone and it dosent work.

@dragonman14 you must be doing something wrong. I (and according to other comments I'm not the only one) had no problems with the keygen.

if some1 has used the keygen then please give us some keys...............

a keygen is considered a virus by most antivirus programs.
7 verified means more than 10 fake's in my opinion
and 8 anti-virus programs seems very unhealthy
that crashes a lot of noob computers
plus they usually recognize eachother as virus'

OMFG... a bunch of newbs still hanging around the torrent sites, eh? For the millionth time, use a vitual machine with Windows XP installed on it, to execute Keygens and any programs you need to get information from. That way you don't have to risk getting a virus on your machine. Test the shyt on the virtual machine first! It doesn't matter if the virtual Windows XP is infected because you don't have to save the progress on it; just simply restart it and continue life...

i am not afraid of any virus, however i don't understand. I unzip with power ISO but i don't see any keygen! so i cannot register and have photoshop running unless i am doing somehting wrong. Thanks

yep guys the keygen includes a trojan.
I have used it & got infected with (mdnsNSP.dll) type of bonjour something which creates by itself unknowingly. You can see this if u r infected by that in ur directory x:/program files/Bonjour

please excuse my english. i felt that i have to share you with my solution
for that annoying install bug. please feedback to my email antrax@zahav.net.il
and tell me if that was a good solution.

ok. this solution involves regedit.exe if you have no clue what it is, let someone
who knows how to do this.

1. open regedit (start > run > type "regedit" > press ok)

2. open "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT"

3. find "installer"

4. open installer and right click on "products"

5. choose "export" and save this file to your desktop (name dosent matters)

6. right click again on "products" and choose "delete"

7. copy all cd content to a folder in your desktop

8. run "Setup.exe"

9. if you have an option to remove components or something
like that (trash can icon), choose it and remove components.

10. after you have removed components, install the program normally.

11. after install finished, run the reg file that you saved on your desktop and walla...

The keygen is not the one wif virus...its the actual installation.
Infact Bonjour.exe is not a virus, it is a service which is part of the adobe photoshop.exe
Bonjour will automaically be installed on the computer when you installed adobe photoshop.
Dont worry it wont harm your computer but I recommend you to delete Bonjour.exe this is what you do:

1. Right click on my computer and click on Manage.
2. Ckick on "services and application"
3. Click "services"
4. Find "##Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762##"
5. Right click on it and click on "properties"
6. Change the startup type to "disabled"
7. Click on "stop" to stop the service.
8. Go to C:Program Fi **** njour delete the folder...
9. Retstart your computer...

Congratulation its been removed....

1) Run setup.exe on the file

To do this, you can either:

a) extract the .daa file using PowerISO
or
b) mount the .daa file with DAEMON Tools (recommended)

Then click setup.exe wherever you extracted it or wherever your mounted drive is

2) At end of extraction, make sure "Launch Photoshop CS3" is checked and click finish to launch the installation. If you don't check that, you can go to the extracted directory (default: C:Program FilesAdobe CS3PhotoshopAdobe CS3) and run the setup.exe in there.

3) When this setup.exe completes, run Photoshop from the Start Menu and copy/paste the cd-key from keygen.txt



I personally just repacked this mess of only 100 MB saved by putting the extractd files (from the first setup.exe) and keygen and even an autorun.inf file into an iso file. This torrent's .daa file is a mess pure and simple. But it works perfectly.

I'm going back to Elements.
I'd say this version of photoshop is just to powerful and heavy for users like myself (advanced hobby user). I'll use it for the HDR functions and masking but for the rest .. its back to Elements for me.
And BTW, extended has some extra sophisticated functions like 3d projection and visualisation. Which are only used by engineers and professionals anyway

Everyone, if you are paranoid about possible trojans, download a free program called Sandboxie. It lets you safely run any program sandboxed (isolated from the rest of the disk). Once you are finished, just empty the sandbox. You can also take a peek inside the sandbox directory to see if it has created any files it shouldn't have. This is a very low-overhead alternative to using a virtual machine.

well if you use this release and use a key from the comments you will be fine
and its a volume lincesa so you dont need crack or activate so you can downloads all update instantly

hey da-azn-mafia I tried your solution to delete bonjour.exe but it doesn't work. It always say acess denied make sure that the disk is not full or white protected and that the program is not currently used. DO you know what I can do??
