The game installed and patched alright but for some reason theres an error everytime I try to run to the actual game. Would anyone be kind enough to help me out?

im having trouble while using daemon tools, it keeps telling me when i try to mount the images, it says "Unable to Mount Image. File contains no data." please help

All you have to do is install the game copy the crack from the crack folder to the folder where the real swkotor.exe file is and play!!!

It's a great game! you need to play it with your brain if you wanna play is corrctly and to cover all the game, cause else,you will end up in the middle of nowhere and don't know what to do! If you have a keyboard a mouse and some brain, then enjoy the game ;)

By the way guys, this game does not work too well on Vista, for a lot of people, it will just crash on startup, for others, it may play but crash a lot or have horrible display problems, I think it's more the games fault than Vistas because of the way the creators built the game but meh.

It works fine on XP but it is still rather buggy, very badly made but fun game...

PS: ... if you don't even know where the download link(s) are, you should shoot yourself immediately.

**** noob (gasp) so i kinda need help. i downloaded KOTOR 2, and when i open up cd 1, it says find program with web. what programs do i need to play the game and how do i do it?

ok i dont know what to do...... im not a noob.... ive installed the game by deamon tools ,copied over the crack to the game folder. but when i start it.....after a while it says that windows has found a critical error and has to shut down the game i mean what the f**k!. you guys say it works great if you have the brain to figure out how you should do so can you please tell me how i have to do to get the game working!?

(i have win xp and all the system requirements so its not that)

when i copy over the crack it only creates a shortcut instead of replacing the real game exe! allthough its the exact same name! im really confused can someone help me??

Im having the same problem as quite a few of you. Daemon tools wont open the CUE files. Says that its an invalid image file.

No clue what to do . . . . help?

game runs fine for me....though when i get to the first cut scene (right after i name my char) it crashes, my comp is fine and i've tried multiple video settings, not really asking for help just stating thats as far as it gets for meh

Guys, I really have no idea what I am doing. I have downloaded the game files but I cannot run them as they are BIN and CUE files, how do I install the game? My friend said I should burn the files to discs, would that work?

hmmm.. if u load the game from the .cue file you dont see the crack file at all in the directory, you have to load from the .bin file. The .bin only shows in the 'select new image file' window if the file type option is set to 'All files(*.*)'

Okay, for all the people who cant find help because some people are jerks and think that they are better than you because someone told them how to do it and dont have time to help anyone else.

Here is what you do: -Download DAEMON tools and install it.
-Click the DAEMON icon on the right of your toolbar where your clock is
-Go to the directory where the bin. and cue. files are in the CD1 folder
-Choose "select all" and double click the bin. file
-Go to "My Computer" and you will see a Star Wars icon... double click it!
-Whenever it asks for the next cd just click on the DAEMON tool again and choose
the bin. for the next folder; ie: "cd2...cd3.. etc."

I got all the iso things on Daemon its just that when i get to the 4th CD it says
Please insert the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II 'Disc 1 - Play Disc'
Yet i see no file such as this

I have followed those instructions though when I try to start Disc 1 it does not respond. The crack claims to be missing a mss.dll file when I tried that route.

Does it work with Vista? because i'va downloaded KOTOR 1 and it doesn't want to cooperate with Vista? anyone tried this KOTOR 2 on vista (ultimate)?

I believe the crack is extremely buggy. If the game is started on original exe no error occurs, however asks for cd key as usual. After the crack is applied, an error occurs, so i believe the crack is causing the game to be buggy, instead of the game itself. It is however possible to get the game started on a crack. I have two crack files, both have worked. You have to be (extremely) lucky.. ;) Two options:

1) Try to mix copy/ pasting the original and than a crack exe file. This has worked the most times, however be patient..!!
2) If the error occurs, wait about 30 sec. and try again.. This has worked, but not too often!

Again, if patient you'll get it to work..!! Good luck!

EDIT: My cracks (one 4,36 and one 4,37 MB) were from another DL on this site. Don't remember which, however, try to search more crack files and apply according above mentioned.

for those who are vista and having difficulty, try running the game in compatibility mode.

I have the Vista problem with this game and it doesn´t help if I turn on the compatibility mode or run as administrator mode. The game works randomly and I usually get the Vista game error solution bar right after i start the game.
I found a solution to my problem.
If u start playing a movie and then start the game, it works!
I guess with a Vista u have too much video memory for the game and the movie uses some of that memory.
U can then close the movie player and play the game.

And if u don´t have any movies which I doubt considering where we are commenting, u can also open internet windows for example.
The game was made in 2004 and back then they didn´t consider that Home PC´s would have this much video memory and RAM in the future.
