I installed this last night and it took around 4 hours to complete before getting to that menu thing.
This is my first time to use XP64 and i was wondering where the 'Send to' option is and why 'Quick Launch' wont work? - Cannot create toolbar!?
Also, why does it not look anything like the jpeg in your release?
we need 64 bit application to run on 64 bit window
and 64 bit is still not established as firmly as 32 bit
only hardware support will not do at all
even games are made in 32 bit till now
and 2 run 64 bit application vista is the best well [consider the service pack]of vista
so THAT IS WHY IT SHOWS INVALID APP OR ELSE

I've been using this version of of XP64 for about 3 weeks now and there are so many annoying bugs in it. One of the worst being the Recycle bin which does not work at all - delete something by accident and you will need to use some recovery software to get your files back - nothing, even the smallest of files go into the recycle bin.
With regards to the quick launch problem - upgrade windows and will mysteriously re-appear!
Im also really missing the 'Send to' option.
If you like buggy software, go ahead and use this, otherwise i highly recommend you look somewhere else!
I installed and I used a tool to reveal rootkits and it found a rootkit named HackerDefender100.

yes is a genuine dont worry,need activate automatic update in control panel .... not to install it if your CPU does not incorporate extensions x64 (AMD64) or (EM64T for intel) look your proccesor

I checked up my CPU & its AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600 +1.9GHz Socket AM2 1MB.Do u think that my CPU will incorporate extensions x64?? Sorry for disturbing coz im kinda dum when it comes to Pc´s....:)

Hey juan_ruz, got a problem here.. And wonder if others got it aswell.. "Error 1709. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur when you are running Windows in safe mode (wich I`m not doing), or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed."
Cant install things like Ventrilo, Supreme Commander`s GPGNet..
And when I try to update it from www.windows.com I cant install the framework due to the same reason..
So 64bit version runs faster and is more stable than 32bit. My question is: Do 32bit applications run without any problems on 64bit platform? I checked for my system all 64bit drivers are available, 32bit apps are my concern.

Works well, but...
WinRAR, Windows Messenger Live and Microsoft Office are in Spanish
No key needed for clean install, but you will need one for an upgrade.
You cannot upgrade from 32bit XP with this disc
Some 32 bit apps work, some don't... it's pretty much a crap shoot.
Burn the iso to a disc using Nero or similar, and away you go.
Styrmer - “msiexec.exe /regserver” from the command prompt might fix that. The last thing you installed is probably causing the problem.

reboot the pc with cd rom boot option first.
