I don't know if this would be the case for anyone else--it may just be a problem on my end, though if it is, it's definitely something new--but there appears to be something wrong with this version of P:BP (for the record, I Forced Re-Check before unraring, as I always do for multi-rar files like this).

Upon loading the disk image (into DTPro, with and without YASU) my computer just... stops. If you try and do... pretty much anything, it slows right down and stops responding. If you click on something and wait... oh, 15 minutes or so, it starts back up, and by this means I managed to finally install the game, but I couldn't manage to copy the crack off the disk, as this simple action took down Windows Explorer.

I suppose I should mention that this is a new computer, Vista Ultimate OEM, and that this hasn't happened for any of the 30-50 other games I've installed by the same means, so I'm suspecting the files. I'm downloading the now more seeded version, which is a single .zip, to see if that will work.

So, while I don't think it's a fake, this definitely isn't a "verified, clean and high quality torrent" for me. Good luck to you all, and happy gaming.

Edit: For the record, the .zip version requires a password. So I'm going to try this again and see if I can't get it to work.

It works perfectly. It is weird but you have do open it with MagicISO and extract it from there. You'll extract the penumbra.exe aslwell as the cracks for it. Good luck, let me know if it helped.

I had the same problem, use magicISOPower iso and open it from there.

It works. I don't know why people are complaining about it not working...

Use the latest version of DAEMON tools lite (free). Just double click the 1st stack of books, assuming that you have winrar installed, extract the .bin and .cue files. Mount with Dtools, install, crack it play it!

I'm looking foward to play this game...loved overture..this game is the proof there's no need of much blood or 15000 weapons to have a scary environment. Good game!!!

Yes it works. But...I got to a point where the game would exit going to a new room. A patch corrected this but replaced the .exe. file. Then of course you needed the disc to start the game. Re-applying the crack made it impossible to leave the room. So, unless there's a new crack somewhere, (or just me) it doesn't work.

there's problem with the graphics...i will try to redownload but i am not optimistic...this is surely not a "Verifired,Clean and high quality torrent"
