You can covert MKV to DVD with ConvertXtoDVD but with DTS audio.
Then demux the DVD with VOBEdit and convert the DTS audio into AC3 with dts2ac3 and multiplex the dvd with IFOEdit. Then you can burn to cd and watch on dvd player.
