It depends on what you mean by "running the game". If you want to know if it will open and work then yes it will. Now if you want to know if it will be smooth and very playable, prolly not at all lol. They even recommanded Quad core at first but then they changed it to dual-core so maybe they just optimised it better. Ur current CPU is alright considering the 3dcard u have but if you get a better card, the cpu will bottleneck ur card which mean you won't get the 100% potential speed of ur card because of the slow processor. I have an E8400 overclocked to 4.32Ghz from 3.0, 2Gb of memory which is enough, and my 3dcard is a Radeon HD4870 512Mb which is easily 5 time better than what you have and even still I doubt I'll be able to get 60 frame per seconds on the very maximum settings but hopefuly I will.

Do yourself a favor and upgrade ur cpu for E8400 (~190$Can) if you cannot overclock of +1Ghz, then get a Radeon HD4850 (~200$).

Edit to others: Why don't you just download it from MegaUpload instead of using this extrmely slow torrent?!? You could have it in 1-2 day with the 1 month fee of 10$ or else in a few days with a free account. I'm now at 9/14 parts.

Bunch of morrons who hided the comment of (PankajRanaa) that was giving the link to the MegaUpload folder allowing you to get the whole game at 500Kb/sec if not even higher with a connection over 5Mbit, instead of having slow torrents with losers that doesn't seed. i got this file from http://www.megaupload.com/?f=OT51MQG8. was a steady 1300K all the way. its 100% real but with no crack, so i used http://www.torrentz.com/f23daf5cffd7218c0af672083806b851a2f31bdd. i was looking forward to playing this game, but was severely dissapointed. the graphics are crap and the limiter they have put on is pointless. i may only have 320MB Vram, but its very overclocked and im running the game at 102 FPS average, but theres no way i can turn the graphics up. i wont be buying this till they either remove this feature or someone manages to make a work around.

If you use a router, you can forward a port for µTorrent to forward the data through.
Also you may have some program or member of the routers' net using your bandwidth, which causes you to lose down/up speed.

If you are directly connected to a modem, only advice I can give you is to add more trackers to trackers list or lower your upload of this/other torrents. The more upload bandwidth you use, the less download bandwidth you get and vice versa.

It may also be that only a few of the peers connected to you have the pieces you need at the moment.
This means that only one or a few more uploaders are sending you pieces of these files. After while more seeders may be connected to you and your download speed will rise.

And for last, for downloading a file this big it would make sense to have high broadband connection, like 8M or 24M, or even higher.

a'right ppl... for those who are not able to raise the resolution of GTA 4 due to memory restrictions, there is a work-around. but it will only raise the resolution, not other graphic details.

goto graphic settings in gta... move the resolution slider to the desired resolution (must be supported by your monitor and GPU ) by dragging the slider. DO NOT let go of the left mouse button...keep it pressed as u complete dragging and then press 'space'. the resolution shud be updated.

when i setup the game
i insert 1st CD in the deamon tool ( virtual CD )
and starting the setup
2- it gave me message that must insert 2nd CD
i change the CD from deamon tool and locate the place of 2nd CD (file data3.cab)
3- it gave me message that it can't read the file from CD and demand to change the CD or locate the correct path
