This is the windows you need when you have purchased a computer WITH a legal Windows License but haven't got any real Windows XP CD with it cause the verdors are too proud of their software so instead they supply lame image CD's without the choice not to install the software, or worse have the images stored on your harddisk (usually in diffrent languages :S) and waste 4GB or more of your expensive harddisk space.
You can install this windows on your computer COMPLETELY LEGAL when you already own an OEM license. When Windows asks for activation you should click on the Change Serial button and enter your serial that is supplied with your computer. Then you can activate your Windows Copy 100% LEGAL by internet or phone. This way you can use your LEGAL LICENSE without using the lame images of your vendor.
Keep in mind that you need to install the drivers manual from a driver CD or have to download them. So make sure you have a CD with drivers or download them from your verdor's site before you format your computer and then need a friend's computer to download the software.
For the people that don't own a legal serial I recommend them to use the Volume License version of Windows XP Pro, since you don't have to activate it, instead of using cracks and patches. But if you don't want to take any risk and repect the copyright laws you should buy an OEM License or use a free OS like linux instead :P.
