you copy he cracks into the main directory of the game and overide the original

I Cant update mine so i cant install any expansion, is there a way to update it or go around this problem.

I put the crack in the right folder, but it still doesn't work. How do I do the patch? The patch asks for a CD too. I tried to mount the .mir file and it errors out. What can I do?
