To download get the BitTorrent client here and a .torrent file from any of the torrent search engines listed above ("Download Torrent" button/link)
Using BitTorrent is legal, downloading copyrighted material isn’t. Be careful of what you download or face the consequences.

This is verified, clean and high quality torrent (3)
This lists all the active trackers for this torrent, not just the ones embedded in the .torrent file.
You can get a µTorrent compatible list here. This will speed up your download.
Please note that this page does not hosts or makes available any of the listed filenames. You cannot download any of those files from here.
This list is automatically generated from a “.torrent” file which is simply metadata for the bittorrent protocol. You cannot download the “.torrent” file from here either. We don’t even cache it. If you are lucky the “.torrent” file might still be available on the pages where we found it. There is a list of URLs on top of this page where you might want to start your search. Those domains are completely independent; we have absolutely no control over them. Please don’t blame us if your monitor explodes.

that aside, half life 2 runs ok but still has that dreaded elevator bug which is resolved by saving around any elevator scene that requires a support character and reload it. i also get some general exception error as soon as i close the game down, but it makes no impact on the game what so ever or computer. i have read the text file and makes no difference from all the other half life 2 downloads you find around (still using ahu mod teams version).
just create a shortcut by going to explorer find the exe and send to desktop by right click options. once done edit the shortcut and add '-steam -console' (excluding marks) save it and then run it.
Got a noob question:
How do I "...open your steam acount, enlarge it and click on "My Games" then "Add non-Steam Game... then "Browse"..."
I don't know how to do this step.
Thanks in advance.
...BUT now I get a message: "Engine Error: Available memory less than 128MB!!! -6332416"
Eventhough I leave available almost the 4Gb ram that my PC has!!
Need help again, please.
Thanks in advance.
hl2 cant run in 64 bit windows... Try running it in compatibility mode... right click exe, select compatibility tab...
You rock dude! It's works awesomely great!!
THANKS!
Edit: It's still going, this is THE WAY to download!
