OK jo Jerusalem works just fine (just completed it) and no random crashes. Just one suggestion though.....if you experience lag-like behaviour (sound repeating, mostly during sword fights) just use a different exe file than the one in this torrent. Happened to me & used an exe file from the RELOADED nuked version and all problems solved :-)

Oh....and go buy the game!!

Can someone please tell me what Jerusalem is? and what is the nuked version, I am not new to torrents by any means but new to assassins creed

Just downloaded and extracted. Ran my save file from the nuked version(just before Jerusalem), and it crashed as I went to enter Jerusalem. Do i have to start a new save file or what?

i installed it,tried to run it on the desktop and gave me an error saying "Failed to start game"then some next things about the registry.So i run the file from the folder.I clicked dx10. It starts fine. Everything works fine until they start talking. The voices are not synchronized. As for that, everything is fine. So is there a way i can fix this so the voices would be synchronized?And also i am experiencing some lagging. Like its going in slow motion :? i tried changing the settings to the lowest graphics and did not work. My monitor is 1690x1050 screen resolution.On the graphic settings i tried lowering it,it kinda helped.Can someone help me to make this game work without any slow downs. oh btw, here are my pc specs:Windows Vista Home Edition 32-BIT
Memory(RAM):3.00 GB
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz
My Graphic card:
GeForce 8400 GS

only problem I've had is unsynchronised voices and laggy game play during sword fights (all due to the sound as far as i'm aware) so I'll try the method KhalisJenos talks about and get back to you

Everything works well for me, except that when running the directx10 version at full quality, I will go into BSOD after like 1 min into the game. As for Dx9 I can play it normally.
Anybody have this same problem?

Edit: I realised that this was because my com was over heating. Seems that Dx10 version is much more GPU intensive...

i installed the game, then launched it but it crash just after the first cinematic. do you know why? Is it because my system doesn't the minimum requirement?(1500Mo RAM, 128Mo graphics whereas 2000Mo RAM and 256Mo Graphics needed)

dual core 3ghz,nvidia 6200tc,1 gb ddr2,,, it runs fine on it on 640x480 res,,am shocked for the first time that it went on like heaven,,no frame dropping and no glitches (just in the case of cutscenes but it doesnt matter).

(focus attention on the filtration of textures in game- in it there is no support of anisotropic or trillinear filtration, even if you turning on in videocard drivers)
On PC the game has name - Assassin's Creed Director's Cut Edition --- has quantitative and qualitative improvements in the graphics and gameplay , and so additional levels and tasks.
To distinguish forgery from the original is simple - when you put the disk or image with the original game ?when on splashscreen, before the the installation begin, it will be written on top not Assassin's Creed, it will be written --Assassin's Creed Director's Cut Edition ?

johnartha....i completely agree with you 100%...i downloaded this yesterday and have pla **** it for about 3 hours...in those three hours the game crashed every 10 minutes or so while inside the cities...i only got upto the first assassination in Damascus...then I decided it wasn't worth the trouble restaring every 10 minutes...the graphics issues you mention now makes a lot of sense...No way is this game optimized for pc...

u know what,i saw a copy of the PC Director's Cut edition in my local game store, i'm just gonna buy it tommorow and test it out to see if its any different on my system.

well my soundcard finally turned up and it made a bit of a difference, but i have found that the game gets laggier as you progress

works for some but not for others, c'est la vie i guess

this game is great... I pla **** till the 5th memory block and everything is fine .. just when the target scenes starts ...like when target gets addressed to the assasin.. the sound somehow lags ... and one more thing .. the whole game is within the black marker .. like its some kinda movie or sumthing.. but otherwise hats off to u skullptra...

Steps to install:
1. Extract the .7z file with WinRAR (which you can download, ofcourse just search this site)
2. Run setup.bat (might take a while)
3. Enjoy :) (launch game by selecting either AssassinsCreed_dx9.exe or AssassinsCreed_dx10.exe) depending on your version of direct X.

(If you have a high-end system and you have dual boot XP and Vista, choose Vista because XP can't handle DX10 and DX10 = better graphics)

He uses the super ultra compression tool 7-zip and compresses to ULTRA compression wich allows him to compress files from 7 GB down to 1 or 2 GB.

after that when it asks for permission for reg edit i give it ...
then directx gives me an error while it starts installin ... (coz f no internet probably)

I havent seen anyone have this problem, and d/l and installing about 20 torrents I get this....
85% of the way in to the d/l it keeps giving me the error saying "error: the requested operation could not be completed due too file system limitation" when I force start it, it gets maybe a 100kb before erroring again. If anyone knows a solution to this as opposed to just keep force starting, wich would take weeks, I'd love you long time.
Just so you know, i can still d/l other torrents np, but a 6.5 gigs, this is by far the largest.
Also i have d//'d other programs from skulltura with no problem and tell from the comments its nothing on his end.

Edit: If your havin issues with starting game and get a log file like this "alkylog" then make sure you put "-dx9" behind your shortcut... (This is applied if you have XP or just get a black screen. Should look like ("C:Your program filesUbisoftAssassin's CreedAssassinsCreed_Launcher.exe" -dx9). This also applies to other games like bioshock ect... and "alkylog" means you have the alky mod dx10 for xp installed good luck :D)

Hey, I can't play it. If i run it its autopatching and when its installing the patch it says that he can't find a version number and then it abborts installation. If I run Dx9 or Dx10 its gives an error.

listen guys this fixes jerusalem and arsuf bug...its the patch.... its not a patch actualy.. 3 files r corrupt in the game which is causing it to hang at jerusalem.. so u ll just have to replace those 3 files wit the proper files.. here r the links to the files..

Game installs properly. In the DirectX box I get that my drivers are newer then the ones in the game. I get the opening sequence and then a logo and then a window telling me the game must shut down. Tried the error file suggestions and tried using other exe files as well but always a shut down at exactly the same spot. Can't find a solution here or elsewhere. Does anyone have a clue please.

One thing though: It was not installed in the C: directory and am wondering if this could help??

guys iam so freaked out at this.i have a AMD Athlon x2 +6000 3.01 GHZ on dual core,geforce 8500 gt with 512MB,2 GB RAM 800 Mhz,M2M MX SE PLUS motherboard and a win xp sp3.i set all the settings to high the resolution to the highest my moniter and card can support and it still went perfectly.when it was low settings it was 38 fps and was 34 fps even in high settings(even though it was reduced a little but hey)so i recomend to just try it out(you guys dont believe me,right)
