Extracted the Grid.7z file.
Ran the setup.bat file.
Extraction completed.
installed the directx virsion.(given)
run the exe of 40 mb of size. (No response)
Extracted the original.exe.rar file
replaced the 18mb file with 40 mb file

ohh its working great for me !!! just follow the above instructions!!! I on the other hand was successful in first attempt ... had a little problem with sound... that i resolved by turning on hardware acceleration in sounds setup in option...

Only thing is that its a gr8 game ... gr8 graphics and all ... the control is too extreme .. .I mean to say too sensitive... this needs a gamepad to play not keyboard... this is a better ps3 version I would say !!

my system ws equiped with Kaspersky antivirus sytem
it blocked the game...
i removed the version of anti virus
Now i can run the game on my custom settings...

Hey, the game works great, but how do I update it to v1.1 or v1.2? Is there some registry entry that I must do?

I'm receiving SEVERALS ERRORS MESSAGES on setup.bat process: CRC ERRORS, Files Broken etc, etc....
I do it a CRC test with Winrar and 7zip on the file downloaded from the torrent and on both programs its OK for the file "Race.Driver.GRID.Multi-5.Full-Rip.Skullptura.rar" NO CRC ERRORS...
The file its ABSOLUTE OK on your CRC status....
In the process of extraction (winrar or 7 zip, whatever) also does not give any CRC errors, but on the setup.bat process still going me these messages, in XP and Vista (UAC disable).
I'm tryied several times and nothing....
Save screen, anti-ads/spy/virus and firewall ALL DISABLE and nothing...

Any sugestion for this poor soul??

I am having the problem with the game.

The game installs fine.

It runs and the demo also can be seen on the screen and heared easily.

But then the menu comes and I cannot see anything on the screen, however I can hear the sound clear and distinct, even when I press 'enter' a different sound of something being selected can be hear.
That is the menu is loaded into ram but cannot be seen on the screen.

Im trying to extract, using the setup.bat. At the begening, it seems to work I see some extraction window that pop up, but after a while it seems to freeze. I think i got problem with the data2.exe, this is the only file that doesnt change in 7z SFX files.

to nikki_25.mine's also a 8500 gt 512mb nvidia.my settings are 1440 x 900 resolution 16 sampling or whatever,it works fine on my computer.at first the frame rates were slow but after i downloaded the latest drivers it worked like a charm.

i downloaded dis torrent 2 times but when i'm extracting it says that "data2.x" corrupted and cannot be extracted what may be the problem

all those guys who have problem in installing game properly or claiming that the game doesn't works.....
