You probably DOWNLOADED GTA San Andreas. Great game, isn't it? So listen. Owners of next-gen consoles can play GTA IV. Release date for PCs is UNKNOWN. We aren't sure if it will be released at all. I know that games are expensive and some of them are auch a bullcrap that you won't pay broken coin for them. BUT if you download a game and you like it - BUY it. I've downloaded Kane$Lynch few months ago. I liked this game a lot. After that time it is twice as cheap as when it was released. So why not? That was only 40zl = +/- 18$.
Sorry for such a long complainment :) But I just can't believe that such an **** lives on our planet.
I think what you will find is that Crysis didn't get back as much money as they thought, due to the fact that not everyone owns a super rig to play the freakin game on, yeah okay I'm not going to disagree with you about the piracy issue, but taking EVEN both piracy and super rig issue into account, Crytek are still cashing in on the success of Crysis and developing a new title, Crysis Warhead which is due out anytime now... O' and just to mention PC only.. purely for that fact that it is impossible to develop a game like crysis on muti platform.. Even a PS3 would struggle!!

What I'm doinng on this site? Of course I'm downloading games. Then I'm playing, sometomes I even complete it. And, if I like it, I go out, buy it, and... Do I buy games, Yes, Do I steal, **** yeah, why not I can't get caught.. he he, I even steal my 20mb broad band connection.. The reason for this is that you have to look into the bigger picture, these companys are charging extortionate amounts of money for these games and thats FACT, not only that but once you've brought it £35 here, you have to pay to bloody play it too!! (Multi Player), and who gets loyaltys from this?? BINGO! Crytec, or what any other developers that develop these FPS, If you didn't have to pay to play I would buy them like BF2142 for example, I actually own an original!!! Although it is the only one I do own... he he, It's not us that are distroying PC platforms, it's the creaters themselves!
Anyway, with all this aside, you download games and you say you don't steal because you buy them after? ha ha... I would love to see that stand up in court my friend!! Ha ha

Maybe 10% of all games are good. The rest is just poor. Same goes for Music CD. one song is good the rest is bad. You think I am going to by a CD for one song. No.. Sorry.
I have downloaded a lot of games and maybe pla **** 10% of them. I also own BF2 and BF2142, and some more. Just for interest I chucked BF2142 and prefer to play BF2. Crise has a single player mode that is to short and not worth the money. Multiplayer.... there is no better than BF2. Read the reviews. not to good. Yes good Eye candy, but gameplay?????? Now, have I bought it, I would have wasted money.....
Get the point????? I can list a number of similar games, HL2, Doom3, Quake 4.... boring, overpriced, more than enough profit and totally overhyped.

I mean I'm so glad that Bethesda Software decided to continue the Fallout production and make a third game in the series, but if Interplay was still in business, it would already be done I bet, and maybe some other awesome games would be released. But like I said, we'll never know.
So whats the moral of the story?
Support your game producers. You can try out the game by torrent or the demo download, but if it's good and/or the company has a re **** tion of making a divine game every once in a while, support them. Meaning if the game sucks, but they released an extremely good game earlier, still support them. You might get something nice back from them.

I bought CD-Action (the biggest polish game magazine, maybe you heard about it?) and they gave AiTD 7+ out of 10. They said that there was a lot of fresh ideas in that game, but some of them aren't as good as they should be.
And what do you said about Cod4? Crappy AI? I don't think so. . .

but let's say a game is being sold for a reasonable price, would you guys buy it? I would and I do, whenever I can find good games for a reasonable price on eBay, but hey, I can't afford a game that costs 140$. Yes, 140$ and I'm not exaggerating. That's the standard cost of a PS3 game in my country. PC games cost around 70$. WHY THAT EXPENSIVE? IS THAT FOR THE ELITE ONLY? Why not sell games for the local price and have tens of thousands of customers instead of selling it for a high price to just a few hundreds?
In my country there's a 30% tax fee for multimedia, that includes music, video games, DVDs, importers take some money as well. Come on! In China and Russia there are local factories and licenses. They sell it in local prices. I don't know if it's cheap enough there for average people to buy, but still... how cheap do I want? for example, take USA, the price is 50$ or 60$ for a new game. eBay even sells for less. For Americans, on average, it's like a quarter of a daily salary. so how come in my country we have lower salaries and higher prices at the same time?!
I do buy games, I'd buy from China or Russia if I could, but so far I can't find any places to buy, some places don't offer international shipping, others offer expensive shipping (10-15$) so what do you suggest that ppl like me do, not play any games?
