1. Start pro/e setup.
2. Open ptc_li-4.0.dat with a text editor.
3. Replace every occurance of <HOSTID> with the one shown in the bottom left corner of the Pro/e setup (its your mac-id, format: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx)
4. Install pro/e - pro/m - pro/ds does not matter which one or in which order.
5. On license-config screen select "nodelocked license" and point to edited ptc_li-4.0.dat
6. Install
Pro Engineer:
8. Run ptc.pro engineer.wildfire.4.0.generic-patch.exe, point to <installdir>i486_ntobj folder
9. change the selection to all files in file type and browse for licencse_server and press ok
10.it shows the file is not found and so do u want to browse again,give no. the patch is created then after that close the patch setup and open the software and there it goesssssssss

1.open the Run ptc.pro engineer.wildfire.4.0.generic-patch.exe
2.then open <installdir>i486_ntobj folder in other window
3.know press ctrl+f for search then search the file as follows and see its position

4.point this files when u run ptc.pro engineer.wildfire.4.0.generic-patch.exe
5.then colse it and wait and restart
I would like to know if it is possible for you to access the ptc/help files?
Because when I'm trying to do it pro-e stop working. I know how to change the pro/help search path file but it tells that at least one path must be an internet link and I cannot have one because it's a cracked version... ( the default Pro/HELP Search Path: http://rdweb.ptc.com/docl01) When I change it for my ptchelp folder, it automaticly return to the default link when I start Pro-e...
Could someone help me to bypass this?
