I have Windows XP PRO (sp2) and it works very well both of them
Instalation notes:
1. First of all extract it someware
2. Then enter into the folder where you extract it-> Double click on MERGE_ME.reg then click yes -> ok
3. Double click on hl.exe if you want to play counter-srtike click on "Change game".
