**** thing. It sure took a while, but considering this game's size, I guess it wasn't so bad afterall. Now, if you guys are still wondering if it's for real, yes, it is. And I prefer it because it's already in disc image form (ISO in this case). So for those of you who hate wasting precious time on the extraction step, you can skip that part with this one. But let me be honest here, this is an "untouched" release (more or less), so there's no crack included. As its NFO file frankly explains, this release is provided so you can get the game's content early on and ready to be cracked.
So yes, you'll still need to get a separate crack release to install and play this, but that was never really a problem. **** , I was able to get Skidrow's and Razor's crack-only releases (among others) BEFORE I was even done with this torrent.
This is a great Reloaded release. But regardless of the Team that released the torrent, you only need a CD key/serial IF you wanna use an online "LIVE Profile", as I sometimes do. But if you create and use an "Offline Profile", you won't be needing any key/serial to be able to play & save your games.
It may not have as many seeders (for now) as the other "multi-RARed" releases, but I still got reasonable speeds out of it. It's still the same ISO image release by Scene superstars Reloaded. AND it has the exact same size as the RARed ones, so you don't really lose out on bandwith usage and disk space.
If anything, you'll actually save time (and disk space) because you don't need to unRAR or decompress anything like the other releases. The ISO image is ready to go (as is) as soon as your download hits 100%. You can continue seeding the whole thing beyond 1:1 ratio WHILE you're using the image file for burning/mounting/installing/cracking. Which is exactly how we like it in the Scene.
The Game:
The gameplay's a bit new (for RE), but still great nonetheless. The graphics are even better! Especially if you have a good DirectX 10 or better graphics card and your other hardware components pass the Recommended Requirements. The story is as tense as you'd expect from an RE game. And the sounds are equally awesome.
Even if you can't get the amazing multiplayer campaign (coop) to work, trust me, the single-player game is still worth it.
PS: As usual, use your common sense: Update you hardware drivers, media codecs and your Games for Windows-LIVE (offline account).
No, it doesn't. I never encountered a single problem. I've heard of installation and loading issues from other people, but they say it happens even on genuine copies! So whatever your problem is, it isn't because of Reloaded's release. So QUIT blaming this trusted group.
OMG. I just came from IsoHunt, and it's like I'm having DejaVu. The comment section here is like an exact duplicate of the one from IsoHunt! Doesn't anybody READ anymore?
Look, this release by ToeD is as REAL as they come! But it's a Game Rip people, so you won't find any disc-images (MDS/MDF,CCD,CUE/BIN,ISO) to burn or mount here! Traditionally, as a kid, Purists like me have sta **** away from Rips because--by their very definition--this subcategory of releases had to see some things go (e.g. videos, music, etc), and so multimedia freaks like me couldn't have that, could we. But NOT anymore!
With the advent of the modern Web, the unprecedented speed of broadband, our incredible disk-storage potential these days, the relentless power of the BitTorrent and ED2K networks, and the generous works of Dopeman, Skullptura, ToeD and MANY other Scene heroes, Game Rips have entered a new era. They are ALMOST as complete as their disk-image counterparts. In fact, unless otherwise noted, the ONLY thing missing from this new generation of Rips (for them to have qualified as a Game Rip at all) is their multilingual capability. In other words, major ripped releases nowadays are English-only, with a few exceptions, of course. But that's not really a problem, 'coz most Net users are also English-proficient--relatively speaking.
Now, with that cleared up, for THOSE needing a bit of help and for THOSE talking crap about this release, let me just copy and paste my comments from IsoHunt below (URL only):
This is the real deal. For those of you who keep complaining about being unable to open it, well, that's because you're NOT supposed to "open" it. ISOs and other disk-image files like MDFs and CCDs and BINs are supposed to be burned to a disc OR mounted on a drive emulator like Alcohol 120% (my personal preference) or Daemon Tools. If you don't know how to do these tasks, well, this obviously isn't the place for a tutorial, so do a Google or Yahoo search on these topics.
As for the torrent itself, Rogerlucas did an amazing job on this one. He's already updated it to the latest version so there's no need to do anything else but install and enjoy! Mouse support has already been added, and so, no more keyboard mashing for those of you who hate that. Graphics have been tweaked to get more in-line with the PC's increased graphical prowess. The gameplay is breath-taking and exciting, not to mention really creepy! The characters and environments are--at some points--almost photo-realistic! And the sounds will make you jump in your seat more often than you would like to! :P
Of course, it goes without saying that your PC's hardware specs have to be really good too if you hope to see and hear the game's full potential. But if it's up to it, then prepare to be immersed in Resident Evil 4's horror!
And because I'm in such a good mood today (relatively speaking, of course), I'll even throw in a nice little guide for all the mouse users out there: "1" button=Run/Cancel button; "3" button=Action/Fire button; "5/6" buttons=Ready Knife/Ready Gun buttons. You can find (or even change) the default buttons for these "numbers" by using the mouse/keyboard configuration tool OR you can just "find" them by experimenting with your buttons (mouse/keyboard), while you're actually playing the game.
PS: For the record, I'd also like to say that even though this one is by Rogerlucas, TOED's game rips are all authentic and are some of the best works around.
Yup, this torrent is for real, alright. This is the Hatred group's Tomb Raider: Anniversary release. There are many identical torrents out there just like this one, but this has the added advantage of having a lot more seeders and peers than the others, and you know the benefits of that fact. Just follow the instructions in the included .NFO file and it'll work perfectly!
As usual, this is another amazing addition to the Tomb Raider series. And even though it's an enhanced "remake" of the original Tomb Raider (1996), its updated gameplay--not to mention its gorgeous graphics and cinematic sounds, powered by an upgraded verion of Crystal Dynamics' Legend engine--keeps the entire game fresher than ever!
If you simply can't follow the included instructions, then just do a Google, Yahoo or Live.com search for info about torrents and RAR file extractions and disk-image mounting/burning. ;)
