For downloads like this with extensions ending in .z01 or .r01 they're compressed files split into volumes. Z01 are winzip and r01 are winrar. If you don't have winrar, a free evaluation version can be downloaded from the developers' sites.

To extract the image file, right click the file ending with .rar, choose WinRar from the context menu (the menu that pops up when you right click something), and select "Extract Here". This will extract the file and put all the pieces back together and then you'll be able to load the image file with the software of your choice. I recommend Daemon Tools or PowerISO.
As for the validity of this upload, i'll check it out myself. Remember to always scan for malicious software before opening a file of any type, music pictures and movies included.
