To Joeyy : Go in the file you mounted, this time by opening it, you'll find it, it's the file called "prototypef". If you really don't find it, type Prototype crack in the search engine here on Torrentz, and download Razor 1911's crack. You'll get the prototypef file I'm talking about :) Hope it works for you too d(^ ^

the crack normally comes with the game, in the folder Razor1911, but it doesn't f*ing work! I also tried downloading the crack through here, same result :/
note : when i launch the crack, it says that I need to install DirectX 9.0c, but it was installed along with the game! And I know I already have it from previous games... Anyone have the same problem?
I just installed the game by extracting the file and mounting it, but when I hit the "Play" option in the menu, it says I need to insert the original CD/DVD copy of Prototype... Anyone have the same problem/Know how to fix it?

The game is awesome in my standards :D Slicing, dicing and generally dissecting hords of soldiers was heaps of fun :] It sadly isn't very long (finished it in three days, and I'm not even a hardcore gamer :s) but well worth the download :D
One lower quote would be the fight against the sentinel... Seriously, if you (like me) play with an X360 controller, just drop it for the button mashing part, or you'll never get through :/
works fine. It crashed the first time I launched it, but I just had to reboot my computer and it worked perfectly the second time d(^^
Also, I don't get why people think it sux so bad... Except for the machine gun parts (there are two), it's actually quite a good game imo.
It's a fast-paced shooter, you can actually move from one cover to another and you can bend bullets, go into slow-motion and stuff like that...
(check out the IGN video review, it'll tell you how to pass the machine gun parts, which are impossible otherwise)

As for this crack, it's laggy and the sound isn't good... But hey, it works, that's the most important :D
