Does anyone know how to get the new patch release if i don't have steam?

ok, when i try to play counter on the net it says my version does not match the servers, so how can i update? in the info file it says i must have acces to a source account to do that or something like that, is there another way?

a serial key anyone?

where's the launcher ? is it yasu? because securom still detects it
