DON'T download this copy. The audio and the video aren't bloody synced. And I tried playing it with different media players too, so it's not even a codec problem. Just a bad copy.
Ok here's the deal. The game works, but you need to download a separate patch and crack for it.
The patch updates the game to either v1.1 or v1.2, depending on which patch you download. Since the patch is an official release, you can download it from any major gaming website, like www.gamespot.com.
After downloading the patch, download the appropriate game crack - there are separate ones for v1.1 and v1.2. You can download them from here:

I have a legit Windows LIVE account since I own GTA IV in the original, so all subsequent Torrentz downloads that require a Windows LIVE account, like Fallout 3 or Batman, haven't given me any problem. I could certainly save my game in Batman properly. If you don't have a Windows LIVE account, you might have to create one offline or something.

This 2004 version is the original Thai one and is friggin' AMAZING! I was jumping out of my seat. Most Hollywood remakes are bad, and the 2008 version is no exception.
ISO file works fine, no viruses or nothing. And the movies themselves are really really interesting (if you're interested in contemporary conspiracies). So DEFINITELY worth a download!
Ok people, for those of you who for the "emulation conflict problem", here's what to do:
1. Go on to http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_world_in_conflict.shtml
2. In the list of game fixes for World In Conflict that are mentioned, download the one titled "World In Conflict v1.0 [ENGLISH/GERMAN] No-DVD/Fixed EXE". (Do NOT download the other ones since they're for v1.002 and onwards, and this torrent is only v1.0 of the game, so the other fixes won't work.)
3. The game fix is 23.7 MB. Don't worry. It's clean. No viruses. Download it by clicking on the link, and in the page that appears, clicking on the little blue and gray icon next to the words "File Archive [23.7 MB]". Underneath are instructions for what to do with game fix (also known as crack).
4. The download comes as an archive file. Unzip it using WinRAR (available on Torrentz for download), then copy paste all the file contents into the installed folder of the game. A window will appear asking if you want to replace an existing file with the new one. Click 'yes'.
5. Enjoy the game!!

Ah! So when's the full version out?! I've been DYING to play this one! And even when they release the full 12GB version, how long till the crack for that comes out?
Yeah game worked and installed fine. The game's crap though. Nothing compared to SoF 1, which was good, and Sof 2, which was fantastic. No problem with the torrent, but the game is pretty forgettable.

2. It'll ask for a serial key. Get one from http://www.serials.ws/ by searching for 'Need for Speed Pro Street". Type it in, the game installs fine.
3. After that, copy the 41MB crack file from the CD image you mounted and paste it into the folder where you installed the game. It'll ask you to replace the existing application file. Do it.
4. Start the game by clicking the crack file you just pasted into the game folder. Enjoy!
By the way, I'm running a 32-bit Vista system, and there are no compatibility issues.

I successfully mounted the ISO file and installed the game, but when I started it, it said "the CD could not be authenticated". I think the game needs a crack, but I can't find one on the net. I'm running a 32-bit Vista, so I'm wondering whether that is creating the problem, though it's highly unlikely.
