I'm not familiar with Razor's work, but the installer for this is kinda messed up. The installer crashes halfway through reading the second disc image, and it leaves you with an overlapped "second program list" within the root list of the start menu, instead of just creating a single ETW link with all the relevant file shortcuts (executables, etc) plus the start menu entry for the game isn't even there anyway. I'm not flaming against Razor or anything, if he/she has a good rep, that's great and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, I'm just saying what happened with me with this particular download...
Agreed, not a great movie. Predictable fast-moving plot, a script that tries to be "hip and witty", but fails, punctuated by a few funnier moments, very lame villian(s), and not that much production value either. Overall 5.5/10

OF COURSE if you rip a blu-ray movie as a 780 mb you're going to lose quality (it certainly won't be hd anymore), but who said anything about blu ray??
And what do you mean, "a 780MB SCREENER can't have a 9, because the real dvd is 4.7"??? I think you lost everyone there...
I will agree that even an axxo dvd isn't as good as actually watching the dvd, (expecially on an hd display), and maybe USN does do 4gb rips, but generally when people talk about dvdrips on a torrent site, they're talking about a roughly 600-700 mb file, which is the BENCHMARK as far as torrents are concerned, that by the way, looks pretty much the same as a full dvd when pla **** on a crt display for example.
"A 9 and a 8 are much to high. It's nice Quality but a 800MB SCREENER can't have a 9, i think a 7.5!!"
"Why do you don't rip The Dark Night... BECAUSE THE DVD IS NOT YET RELEASED."
Sorry ObAt, but do you even know what a dvd screener is?
It's a promotional dvd of the movie that gets distributed to movie rental stores, theatres, censors, critics, and awards organizations before ever going to theatres. It's identical to the official dvd release in terms of quality, but usually with no menus or extras, so if you download a screener rip and the quality isn't great, it's not because it's a screener, it's because it simply wasn't ripped well.
Why don't you make sure you know what your talking about, before making uninformed comments.
It's a shame that when dvd screeners come out, the people that decide to rip them always seem to use "their favorite" ripping software, which usually means it MAY or may not be divx compatible, and always needs some annoyingly obscure audio codec that nobody ever heard of. Plus, of course it has to be ripped into 2 files that take up 1.4 gigs, instead of DOING WHAT WORKS and ripping it as a single-file high quality divx avi that you don't even need to compress, AND is much better quality anyway. I just don't get it...
Excellent job, game works perfectly. There's a cd drive emulator in the download but I didn't bother to use it, I just used Daemon tools and it installed and pla **** fine. Also if you go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ you can find a no-cd 1.3 patch AND you can install the famous 1.4 patch and the no-cd exe from 1.3 will still work! If you haven't pla **** this game you gotta try it, I've been addicted to it for 2 weeks now, lol!
Good quality rip except the gain (volume) is super low so you have to crank your stereo (or whatever you use) way the **** up, which can be annoying for obvious reasons.
Didn't watch the whole thing because it's a cam job, but a decent cam job. Although compared to a typical axxo dvdrip I'd give it 4.5/10 for video, 6/10 for audio. Definately gonna wait for the dvdrip/blurayrip myself...
BTW, this is an excellent job all around for this torrent, but the first 8 episodes are replaced with what IMDB refers to as "Unknown Season" episodes... What's up with that? (I'm going to try and find the proper episodes from another torrent...)
Wow.... I mean wow.... some of the people in this thread need a reality check. Generally speaking, compressing a video file WILL lower it's video and audio quality a bit, BUT you could play it a million times and it will still look and sound the same. The idea of a video file degrading from simply watching it is rediculous. It is a DIGITAL file on a HARD DRIVE!! Unless the hard drive itself is corrupted, worn out or otherwise damaged, file degradation is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE! Same goes for dvds (barring scratches) and any other mainstream storage media.... sheesh... File degradation due to storage media hasn't occured since the days software came on TAPES for crying out loud... If you experience it, it's because your comp's frikkin' ancient and needs a new hard drive because you've got has too many bad sectors...
It's not only that, but also the fact that you need an obscure codec to get the audio to work at all, and the rip quality is poor, definitely not a dvdrip, probably satellite or something. Personally, I'm going to look for a better rip...
