You need a good computer to decode x264 encoding (this is encoded in x264).
You CAN play this on a PS3 and on certain Blu-ray players (you will have to remux the file -like re-encoding a little, not quite the same- first in order to tho) it takes about 10-15 minutes with the right software.
1080p is amazing.
But to be honest, on my 24" PC monitor (1920x1200) I can't tell the difference between 1080p and 720p at a distance of about 8-10 feet. The difference between a good quality dvd/blu-ray rip (700mb-1400mb) and a 720p rip is slightly noticeable at the same distance.
Use these on a big screen to enjoy them at their best. (a tv... 1080p)

oh and a lot of scene releases are out before the actual DVD/blu-ray release date.

Doesn't come close to aXXo's rips.
If you wanna do the movie justice, see it in theaters, or wait for the DVD/a better release.
(I had to sit >10 feet away on a 24" monitor so that it looked ok.)
