im getting a problem where it starts up and instantly shuts itself down.. anyone can help ? :/

You most likely changed the directory name where you installed the game. Just use the recommended settings and install the game in C:Program . Windows Vista (maybe XP also?) will say that it can cause problems to create that map, but there is no other option so ignore it.
