To mount means that you "fool" your computer that there is a cd in the cd-drive (what you actually have is only a cd-image on your computer), so that you don't need to burn the image onto a cd but you can mount it with a mounting program. Whwn you have downloaded it you just mount the cd-image with DAEMON Tools and you wont have to burn it onto a cd.
