When you install the game, it doesn't put the game icon on the desktop, nor is there one under Start - All Programs - Touchstone - Turok. There is only the Uninstall option! In addition to that, I searched manually for the exe file and there wasn't one. Then I copied the cracked exe from DVD 1 to the Binaries subfolder and the game runs fine??
This coupled with what grlskce said, makes me think this might be a corrupted version.
I don't know if this is just my computer or what (shouldn't be), but the game just crashes to the desktop without any explanation at the point after you've fended off the initial templar attack on the village and are supposed to go to the next spot within the castle. Has this happened to anyone else?
There was one small "error", though. The DVD wouldn't autorun, so I launched setup manually. Nothing happened. I did it again. Nothing again. Then I thought the game doesn't work and I went to task manager to stop setup. There were two instances of it and when I stopped the first one setup started right away and voila, the game installed fine!
