To make Ad-Aware 2008 Pro work as intended do the following:
Download, install and update Avira AntiVir Free Edition
Download WinRAR or WinZip
Make sure AntiVir Guard is ENABLED
Now right-click aaw2008.exe and in your contextmenu you should get the option to open with WinRAR, do that. Now delete explorer.exe when this is done extract and run the real aaw2008.exe. When the installation is finished make sure Ad-Aware is not running, you also need to disable its service. So goto run located in your startmenu and type "cmd" without the quotes. Now a little black box should pop-up in here you'll need to type some more:
net stop aawservice
Now, go to the crack dir of your recently downloaded torrent and make a copy of lavalicense.dll, rename it to: "new.lavalicense.dll". Now copy both files to Ad-Aware's install dir (by default - "C:Program FilesLavasoftAd-Aware"). Almost finished :-) Ok last thing you need to do is to make these to files read-only and you are done. Now you can safely launch and update Ad-Aware.
