@afsari123 :
Same size does not necessarily mean stolen or borrowed rip. Bitrates of audio and video, width x height, codecs and containers can be different. Nhanc3: 1280 x 534; SecretMyth: 1280 x 544, + stereo version to be able to play it on a Xbox360 and/or a PS3 and/or some multimedia centers/players.

Is it possible to play in non-hd resolution? I mean for those who have installed and pla **** this game, is it possible to set the resolution below 1280 x 720, for example set it to 800x600 or 640x480?
Or I should buy a more powerful computer than Athlon 2GHz ATI 9800 Pro and 1GB of RAM...
Weird aspect ratio 640x336; I hope the quality is good >_<
Edit: Very good quality :-) but in some scenes, there are weird "noises" or micro dots or pixels on the faces of the characters, it looks "grainy", blurry. I don't know if it's from the XviD codec capabilities and or the bitrate and or the number of XviD passes.
A simple thing to do to keep your brains working when you're getting older, for 50~55years old people:
write every evening or every night in a book or a diary what you did today, what you saw, what ideas you had, things to do, etc.
and/or every morning write what you dream(s) was(were) if you can remember it(them).
Center.Stage.Turn.It.Up.PROPER.DVDSCR.XviD-DOMiNO = 608x320 (1.9:1)
Center.Stage.Turn.It.Up.DVDRip.XviD-BeStDivX = 592x320 (1.85:1), the width is 16 pixels smaller than the DVDSCR, but video quality looks very good :-)
FXG, for your next rips, you should rename directly the subs file name just like the movie file name. You only have to add ".subs". People will know it is the subtitles file, even if their file explorer doesn't show the file extensions (.avi and .srt in this case).
Example:
movie file: Saw V[2008][Unrated Edition]DvDrip[Eng]-FXG.avi
subs file: Saw V[2008][Unrated Edition]DvDrip[Eng]-FXG.subs.srt
Weird aspect ratio 640x336; I hope the quality is good >_<

A bit blurry in some parts of the movie, but quality is fine. At least it fits on a cd for those who want to watch it on their player and or archive it... Otherwise, get the Pukka encoding or wait for a 720p or 1080p versions. Or wait a few weeks or months to buy official dvds/blu rays less expensive if you want to support the artists.
To aXXo:
I don't know if you read the comments xD and I don't know if you live in Canada or USA, there's one thing I'd like to ask:
would you mind trying to record Smallville season 8(the current season) hdtv episodes every Thursday night?
It seems it's difficult to get it/record it right without getting out of sync audio :-p
Thanks.
- the same aspect ratio as the original cinema 2.35:1 (according to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882/ )(dvd is also 2.35:1, see on the product details in www.amazon.com)
- and? or? the bigger picture size(bigger may not necessarily be the best, it depends on codec settings when dvdripping and when playing/decoding/reading the file).
FXM has both the right aspect ratio and the bigger picture. Quality ? I don't know.
lol :-) i wonder who put bad votes on my previous comments =
"Found a sample on a forum, good quality (when viewed in full screen mode) on my old 17" crt screen. Audio seems fine too.
Story: I haven't watched it yet."
I didn't say anything bad, and no spoiler too...
By the way, about story (no spoilers) = good 3D computer graphics effects :-)
If you use a torrent client that can edit trackers, such as µtorrent or azureus, remove the tracker www.moviex.info. I uploaded more than I downloaded (it's a good thing though)...
According to many forums they leech and steal without giving and uploading :-(
These 3 movies =

- An.Empress.And.The.Warriors.2008.DVDRip.XviD-BiEN and
- Three.Kingdoms.Resurrection.Of.The.Dragon.2008.DVDRip.XviD-SSF
I prefer the 2nd, but all 3 movies were tragic and sad :-(

@jtzm: It's probably the same dvd sources as teams Dash and Pukka use for their rip.
@fantastica : sizes depend on video duration, video codec and audio codec and container...
Some prefer video quality over audio quality(stereo mp3 is good though), files are about 700 mb;
others want both video and audio quality(then it's multichannel ac3), files are between 700 and 1400mb.
There are "unofficial" rules/advices for video encoding, often called as "scene" rules, but frontier between "scene" and "p2p" is a thin or blurred line...
I just noticed, fxg, fxm, axxo, klaxxon have the letter x common in their names :p

For the fans, official dvds of season 2 are available since Sunday August 24th 2008 on some online shops such as Amazon. I read there are many unaired scenes and alternatives scenes (because of the writers strike last year). One scene showing Kaito Nakamura (Hiro's dad) power is available on youtube.

! Now I know why there was a weird aspect ratio in some encodings =
It depends on the dvd source and the way to transfer the movie on the dvd.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect_ratio_%28image%29 and the part 2.2 16:9 standard =
On the back cover of a dvd, if you read 16:9 or 1.77:1 or 1.78:1, that doesn't necessarily mean that it will be displa **** on the screen at 16:9 or 1.77:1 or 1.78:1.
"Wider ratios such as 1.85:1 and 2.40:1 are accommodated within the 16:9 DVD frame by additional black bars within the image itself." = That means picture+black bars=16:9; if removing black bars=True aspect ratio.
Edit: currently checking and doing some calculus on various releases of axxo, fxm, fxg, klaxxon, etc.
Aspect ratios of the starship troopers movies are ok, within the threshold :)
I wonder if you really understood what I wrote xD ...
By the way, i learnt some technical advice about video encoding, it can render good quality while keeping aspect ratio, remaining compatible with dvd/divx home players and ****
Also about aspect ratio: (some might think i'm ****
I mean those who encode should at least respect the real aspect ratio that the movies creators/directors/producers choosed for recording and publishing. And I didn't aim specifically to axxo. Some of the first axxo sharings had respective true aspect ratios. And then fakes and impostors appeared months later ...
And comments are made to improve the quality of what they shares to us for free. There are good and well explained tutorials and how-tos about movie encoding :) Sites with detailed tutorials: Doom9, Afterdawn and Videohelp among the most known sites.
:( He failed again at aspect ratios, he doesn't seem to know how to crop and or resize a movie. Maybe it isn't axxo, it's an impostor.
According to http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Jekyll-Mr-Hyde-Skerritt/dp/B0013D8LDG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1217949214&sr=1-4 aspect ratio is 1.66:1.
This encode is 660 x 360 1.833 (11:6) ?! And he dares write : > SOURCE.....[ DVD :(
:-( He (or an axxo pretender or imposter) failed again, it seems he doesn't know how to crop and or resize a movie. According to amazon, imdb and other sites, available aspect ratios for this movie are:
1.33:1(=4:3 fullscreen), 1.77:1 (16:9) or 2.35:1(widescreen). This encode is 688 x 284 2.423 (46:19) :-( a bit far from 2.35:1 .

Seems they are 608 x 336 = aspect ratio 1.81:1 for dvd; original according to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410975/technical is 1.37:1 for full screen, and 1.78:1 for hdtv, and http://www.amazon.com/Desperate-Housewives-Complete-First-Season/dp/B00079FUI6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1217524653&sr=1-3 is also 1.78:1 for dvd; the guys who encoded the episode cropped 6pixels, it should be 608 x 342, not 336. Fortunately the video quality is good :)
Episode 01, even though it says "fixed" in the filename, is a tiny bit unsync for 1 second.
Or get http://www.torrentz.com/92f83d2b4ac04c15baf6879063b27dd5fe51b7a0
Notes: Stripped some of the credits to be able to keep it on 1CD with AC3 intact.
:-( It's 25.00fps, not original 29.97 or 23.98fps ... That means audio is sped and pitched up compared to the original version.
According to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0912597/ , aspect ratio is 1.85:1; FXG release is 1.890:1 (~17:9) (620 x 328) (according to http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4270779/L_Change_the_World%5B2008%5DDvDrip%5BJap%5D-FXG ).
I don't know about the video quality, I haven't watched it yet.
If you want a near aspect ratio, get the iA **** version ( http://www.scenereleases.info/2008/07/l-change-world-2008-dvdrip-xvid-ia **** .html ), a bit smaller (560 x 304) but aspect is closer(1.84). I haven't watched it yet too.
Batman.Gotham.Knight.2008.STV.DVDRip.XviD-SSTV is 640 x 368 and Batman-Gotham.Knight[2008]DvDrip-aXXo is 704 x 384 . Which one has the real / good / true aspect ratio ?

I watched the SSTV one, good quality :-)
- Have I Got A Story ? : 4 kids discussing about what they saw.
- Crossfire : lol she shouldn't have braked the car while arguing with her partner :-p
- Field Test : Bruce looks a bit **** or yaoi (I have nothing against **** s)
- In Darkness Dwells : visiting the old subways underground
- Working Through Pain : remembering some spiritual things
- Deadshot : very precise
The graphic style has lowered :-( I prefer the graphic works from the previous movies. It seems lately the studios are outsourcing to Korea studios and even Thailand studios for some animes. I'm not saying that Koreans and Thailandeses can't draw, they do good work. But when there's not much time, and have deadlines for weekly episodes series, it can get ugly drawing /o

High School Musical
dgnl-hsm.avi =
Video: XVID 720x480 23.98fps 860Kbps Duration: 01 h 38 m
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz stereo 128Kbps
Video quality : a bit interlaced and pixels artifacts, but it's good enough if you only want to watch it without burning it on a disc for archiving purposes
Audio: no problem, but audio squeezes and go mute for many seconds in the ending credits xD
Warning: If you don't care about quality, you can get this file, according to http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4149014/High_School_Musical__DVDrip_Occor.avi =
574 MB for a 2hours movie/show, and with 15 frames/second, that's still watchable :-)
I may be wrong, but I think it is in mandarin, because of the "CN" (= China) in the title. Usually?, dvdrips from Hong Kong or Taiwan haven't CN in the release name.
This version from JvL is in mandarin. The original one is in cantonese, I haven't tried the other torrents yet.
After the credits at the end of the movie, there are... some commercials and advertisements for shampoos and toothpastes ?!
Video quality of the movie is great, but I doubt it is a retail dvd? Maybe it was recorded from TV in China on a standalone dvd-recorder, then encoded to this x264 ac3 .mkv file? And the subtitles within the .mkv file are in "easy to understand for beginners" english.
Or maybe the guy who encoded the movie didn't reached 700 MB, so he added some TV recordings of ads to reach 700 MB lol wtf xD

1.33:1(=4:3 fullscreen), 1.77:1 (16:9) or 2.35:1(widescreen). This encode is 616 x 336 1.833 (11:6) :-( a bit far from 1.77:1.
http://www.mininova.org/tor/703694 = aspect ratio is 2.452:1 ...
Episode 01, even though it says "fixed" in the filename, is a tiny bit unsync for 1 second.
Or get http://www.torrentz.com/92f83d2b4ac04c15baf6879063b27dd5fe51b7a0
:-( It's 25.00fps, not original 29.97 or 23.98fps ... That means audio is sped and pitched up compared to the original version.
- Deadshot : very precise
dgnl-hsm.avi =
Video: XVID 720x480 23.98fps 860Kbps Duration: 01 h 38 m
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz stereo 128Kbps
Video quality : a bit interlaced and pixels artifacts, but it's good enough if you only want to watch it without burning it on a disc for archiving purposes
Audio: no problem, but audio squeezes and go mute for many seconds in the ending credits xD
574 MB for a 2hours movie/show, and with 15 frames/second, that's still watchable :-)
sleep135amafull.mpg = a girl gives some tongue caresses and lickings to a sleepy one, that's cute :-)
