@Ravankar it works good @ your config. But I cant assure you that same performance will be run. As far as my stem is concerned its working smooth. Its config are AMD Athlon 3000+ 1.8Ghz processor, 1.5gb RAM, 80GB HDD, Nvidia 6150 onboard graphics 256mb shared.
Its startup which matters most in system performance. I have nearly 48-50 processes @ Startup. Takes bit time.
Gaulhunter better search for Kaspersky's Corporate Editions. I have faced lot of trouble with other antivirus like norton, mcafee, avira, avg as I am C Programmer. If I write small exe's and these start whining about it as trojan.
deathlyBC make sure some process is not wasting your processor's time.
If your processor load is staying @ 100% uninstall any auto update softwares or some startup programs.
Just have things necessary @ startup like "Antivirus Program, Firewall", "Hardware, Display, network, Sound Drivers", and the things necessary for computer to operate fine.
Its not good to have 10,20 startup programs. Make sure your active processes running @ startup is always less than 55.
After clean install of Win 7 only 35 process will be running @ windows startup.
You can run the ISO Image using Deamon tools and follow onscreen instruction.
or
1.> Burn the image to Disk using Nero or Windows Native burn.(Dont burn ISO File as a whole as data disk. Open the ISO using nero and nero will burn it to disk.
(Note: In order to Upgrade you need to have Vista SP1 only. SP2 gives error.)
2.>For upgrade Run the CD from Vista and follow on screen instruction. If CD Doesn't auto run open the CD Drive of your system and run Setup.exe
32 bit means the instruction OS sends to Processor is 32bit in size.
64 bit means instruction take 64bits.
All the instructions will have 2things:
1.>a instruction name: name of the operation to be performed(Ex. Copy,Paste etc.)
2.>parameters: data to be acted upon.(Ex. C: Drive, D: Drive)
@bojann11 you cant do mixxx n match of up gradation i.e. 64bit to 32 bit or viceversa.
If your system has Vista x64 SP1 you can Upgrade to WIn7 x64.
If your system has Vista x86 SP1 you can Upgrade to WIn7 x86.
For SP2 it has failed to lot of people.
DO you mean that you want to keep your winXP and want to install win7?
You can keep windows XP in 1 drive and install Win 7 another drive.
You need to select "clean install" in setup.
No need of additional service packs. service packs are there to keep OS intact from Virus attacks and other problems only.
Well 32 or 64 bit is based on the system. 64bit is faster because of large instruction size.
To determine whether your system is 32 or 64 bit install CPUZ(32bit version) on system and run it.
In first tab you get a area called Instruction set check whether it has anything like AMD64,x64,x86-64,EM64T. If it is there them it means your system can accept 64bit OSes.
Jaly just re-encode the movie in other format like MPEG after completing download you will get it playing properly.
Use can use some good ripping software by doing a research on Google.
Don't download the media player recommended by them. It might be virus. Its because of bad guy between us trying to show off his virus writing skills.
It more possible that it might be junk file 700MB.
There is 99% chance that the player recommend by them is a spyware.
Below is a discussion forum read it. its safe.

@pratimz seems that you are unaware of the thing called MPAA.
MPAA is trying to weaken the torrent networks. Here is how it acting.
- File will have weird piece size of less than 512KB.
- They might use IP Spoofing with IP's of Asia and Europe and mostly use older Torrent clients like Azureus 2.4. Use "traceroot" to find their location(was LA for me).
- They put a bad piece in beginning which most player tells about codec error and redirects to virus filled sites(but viruses ask themselves to be downloaded hence called as Drive-by Download infection).
Its MPAA who have sent fake axxo on the torrent networks.
For Info regarding difference between R5 and Dvdrip do a research on wikipedia about "Movie Piracy Types"
jaunt it seems that you are inexperienced in OS installation. This installer contains both the versions. 32 bit as well as 64 bit.
If your comp has vista 64bit then it upgrades to 64bit win7
and for 32b/x86 vista it upgrades to 32bit win7.
x86 always means 32 bit.
x64 or x86-64 always means 64bit.
Well you can burn to dvd and install and can run from demon tools also.
Both are similar.
thesludge better be precise and tell what problem is.
Your problem is like disconnecting power cable of PC and calling to call center asking them why MS word is not running?
You have many people to help you.
Seems that fake axxo is on the prowl.
His notable features are
- Password protected .rar file.
- Play back tells about codec error and opens trojan filled site.
- No thank you or any comments.
- Most of sites don't even host the torrent(e.g. mininova).
Abbot1982
1.>download and installBit torrent client like uTorrent(utorrent.com) from site.
2.>You can download the torrent file above given links.
3.>Open torrent file downloaded using above given link in utorrent(client you have installed).
4.> Specify where to save the file.
5.> In u torrent click on advanced it will open another window to specify trackers.
6.> Copy the trackers (only URL's or hyperlinks) and paste in that utorrent box by putting 1 blank line between 2 trackers.
6.> Hit OK. Download begins.
For terminlogy regarding torrents search Wikipedia.
Bad news.
**** s at Anti-piracy Agencies have sighted this torrent too.
They are destroying just putting a bad piece in torrent. It allows only 7 to 10 sec playback. After that it will lead to trojan filled site to f*ck with the systems.
Bottomline: People will curse uploader. Torrent consumption will be reduced.
Those guys are using a faked torrent suite but very old versions like Azureus 2.4. IP Addresses are falsified to be Europe's and Asia's IP addresses.
@Badri_chetan the difference between kb/s and kbps is
KBPS means Kilo "Bits" Per Second and
kb/s means Kilo "BYTES" per Second
@ideit some one had given URL to activation crack above. Check it. I haven't tested this crack yet
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5048906/Windows_7_Hotfixes_and_Activation_Tools_8-8-09
The text might be like "disconnecting""Saving Settings""Logging Off".
Well this issue occurred with Vista Installation for me, the text was "Logging Off" but my rig had only 512MB RAM @ that time, hence had enough time to see.
I cleanly formatted the Installation drive and did a clean install. Worked fine.
Nikhil Daemon tools works fine with x64 Systems as I tested it on x64 Beta (build 7000). I have stopped using x86 as my both Systems are x64 compliant and I use only 32 n 64 bit apps.
Jock Remove the cd from the drive before it restarts.
If it doesn't boot to win 7. still then
check whether your harddisk is accepted in BIOS and BIOS Boot List has has your HDDdrive listed.
If you face trouble regarding "Windows 7 Startup" then Use the startup manager in Repair option available Win 7 Boot disk(somewhere buried at bottom of install window).
Nikhil better try Acronis OS Selector. I have had enough with this issues.
Even I have tried to fiddle with "Boot.ini" file but caused more trouble than solving the problem.
There also something called win xp mode in 7. Why don't you use that.
LOginUI.Exe is the program responsible for login to a User account.
As far as my experience is concerned I don't prefer to dual boot 2 MS OS's. And I always install OS from a physical disk.
I dual boot MS only with Linux distro as linux gives access to program the GRUB loader.
JoeModi make sure you F: Drive is not merged with other partitions or not.
Just Right Click on MyComputer and Click on Manage.
There go to Storage > Disk Mgmt.
Check there if there are any Unallocated space. Create your F: Drive in the unallocated space.
If any hidden partitions exists you may get it there.
Since it it is product from MS it may bug you about creating the drive.
@brprlp009 better you merge those 15GB and 20GB Drives and install. Its better have more than Min required. I have given 30GB for window and it has 40% free most of time. The drive need some space for "PageFile.sys" i.e. Virtual RAM.
@JoeModi suppose you install WIn 7 as dual boot with XP with XP in C: Drive and WIn 7 D: Drive. On booting Win 7 D: is renamed as C: and XP Drive is given other letter.
Win 7 installation drive is always considered as C: as with my installation.
Vinod1704 your specs are way too higher than my comp specs. It should work fine.
Check out whether your hardware has any lose connections or so. or check whether you have loaded too much softwares at start up.
Here are my specs of my laptop and desktop.
Laptop: Intel celeron 1.6 GHz(x64), 1.5GB DDR2 667MHz, 80GB SATA. No GRAPhics card
Desktop: AMD Athlon x64 3000+ 1.8GHz, 1.5GB DDR2 667MHz, 80GB IDE, Onboard NVidia 6100SE with 256MB Shared RAM.
Both are rated at 2.7 by windows rating still give basic performance I need(Aero enabled).
x86 always means 32 bit technology originally developed by Intel in 1980s.
x64 also known as x86-64 always means 64Bit first developed by AMD after 1995.
Here goes x64 story.
AMD Developed x64 Processor architecture based on x86(32bit) architecture of Intel.
AMD Leased x64 architecture to Intel.
Because giving architecture to Intel. Intel will lose licence of all its 64 bit processors technology if it stops 32 bit architecture and AMD too looses the technology if Intel stops 32 bit.
Buddy please upload with some strict standards.
If you want to reduce the volume then cut all frequencies below 20Hz and above 20KHz as humans cant hear above that range. Don't play with equalizers. Just rip with minimal losses.
My sennheisser earphones were unable to get the thump even after increasing bass sounds to all high.
