The proposition in foreword will probably be missing in audio (if it ever gets down). Philosophical Suicide. Camus speaks a great deal about this in Carnets and I think that it's one of the more relevant existential premises to the 21st century. He claims that all philosophers, himself included, eventually reach a point where a leap of faith is necessary. In existentialism this centralizes around the most fundamental issue of life - Death.
