To get rid of the french subtitles in VLC, go to preferences and click "all" at the bottom to get advanced preferences. Go to Video -> Filters -> Crop and under "Crop geometry (pixels)" enter 564x290+0+0. Save preferences. Then under "Window" choose "Extended Controls". Open the movie and under "Video Filter" in the "Extended Controls" window click on "Image cropping"
So I bit the bullet and downloaded it. There is no password on the RAR files but it IS in fact an MKV file, not an AVI. I am unable to play it on VLC on any of my Macs. I also am unable to convert it to an AVI using FFMPEGX with ANY of the codecs. Be Careful.
Besides, it's a RAR compressed file. Anyone know if there's a password. I've got burned way too many times with unavailable passwords for RAR compressed files, so that's strike 2 for this download as far as I'm concerned.
Apparently it's an MKV file and not an AVI file. Unless you're on a Duo Core super fast G5 or Mac Pro, I don't think mac users are going to be able to watch this video, beware. On my powerbook G4, I have NEVER been able to properly view an MKV file in VLC.
Can someone please seed this? I am at 86.46% and suddenly stopped. Also this says the filesize is 2gb but it's really 3.85gb. anyone else notice that or is there a problem?
Zip file is corrupted. I downloaded it twice from different computers, same error. Besides being ZIPPED, the file contained therein is an ASF file, not an AVI file amd it's only 320x240!!! Who the F does that? Anyway, DON'T DOWNLOAD, it's a waste of F'ing time.
