guys iam so freaked out at this.i have a AMD Athlon x2 +6000 3.01 GHZ on dual core,geforce 8500 gt with 512MB,2 GB RAM 800 Mhz,M2M MX SE PLUS motherboard and a win xp sp3.i set all the settings to high the resolution to the highest my moniter and card can support and it still went perfectly.when it was low settings it was 38 fps and was 34 fps even in high settings(even though it was reduced a little but hey)so i recomend to just try it out(you guys dont believe me,right)

i know how to run it.someone please open the game.notepad on your installation folder,copy everything that is written there and paste here plese if it works i will tell you what i did to make this **** work! sorry for my bad language!!

jtzm,my problem is same as you but my one does nt even run before intalling any patch
game launcher starts but after sometime it says spiderman launcher has encoutered a problem and needs to close.

i downloaded this game and worked perfectly

for people who got the game to work online:its a illegal hacked game so NOT IN ONLINE.EA will try to validate your copy of the game and if found out illegal Ea will track you down I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's a cracked game it wont work online,if you installed the patch or update it.the game will search for the original exe.and about the version i think it is a demo considering the game download size is low.

i haven't download it instead i bought the original no ripped game!but again i downloaded 4 of skullptura games.great rip too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to nikki_25.mine's also a 8500 gt 512mb nvidia.my settings are 1440 x 900 resolution 16 sampling or whatever,it works fine on my computer.at first the frame rates were slow but after i downloaded the latest drivers it worked like a charm.
