yes, it works perfectly fine with the compatibility wizard on XP.
i had to figure out two things first tho:

#1: first use the wizard on install.exe.
if screen freezes u need to press ALT+TAB and terminate an error message before the installation goes on.

#2:then use the wizard on launch.exe and save the settings of the compatibility wizard after u exit the game first time.

after that ur good to go.

although the system requirements lab states that my "RADEON 9200 PRO AGP (0x5960)" is not compatible the game still runs perfectly fine with low settings. only the video sequences r distorted for about 3/4 of the screen wich is not that big of a deal for me...the card has 128mb memory, the chipset is sempron 1.8 rated at 3 and the VM is at 512mb ddr-ram...so dont worry dudes, u'll still be able to run the game with a 2 years old puter....
unpacking with winrar, mounting with demon tools, hiding V-drives with yasu all works without problems...
and if u cant get a serial u should seriously consider to go back to playing game boy! Big Up to the release group!
