Another message for Heady: I do agree with you that 664 x 268 is not an ideal resolution, but honestly its not too bad...

With regards to the audio bit rate, 112kbps constant is perfect for movies, its doubtful anyone would notice any difference in quality if it were higher anyway.
You see, with music there is a wide range of frequencies being used all at the same time, needing more space to store it all.
In movies there's generally only voices which use a very limited range of frequencies, not needing so much space for quality...

As for "the 700MB rule" the DivX codec can reduce a movie down to under a gigabyte while retaining near DVD quality. The reason people choose a 700MB file size is that it can be put on a CD if need be... You never know when the shop might not have any DVDs in stock ;)

The OGG Vorbis codec has a significantly higher quality level than that of an MP3

OGG's are really for those people who just aren't satisfied with a 128kbps MP3...

only 128kbps, but that's perfect for me. its not like there's a massive difference in quality with any higher bitrates...

appears to have been encoded with a frequency cut-off at 16kHz so there's a distinct lack of high frequencies...

With the exception of all the files being renamed with the suffix "h8me"
this is a really good download. clean and high quality (192kbps)

after visiting countless sites that require payment before downloading, i'm happy to say that my Fujitsu Siemens Li 1705 notebook now has drivers to run Windows XP. :)
