AMD Athalon 64 x2 5000+
3gb ram (2X512 2X1024) pc6400 800MHZ
8600 gt(this is where I think the problem is)
But the game runs smooth, It's just like choppy, not in a slow laggy way but in a skippy way if that makes any sence.
Alright I have a simple problem and not sure if theres a soulution, I have this completely downloaded and I HAD it working awhile ago anywho i'm using Windows XP Pro X64 and Windows vista ultimate x64, 64 bit yes, So is it possible for me to use this on either? Casue I really don't wanna have to download a different one.
Alright I'm using a nforce 4XX chipset and I checked and there was no royal.sys in my drivers directory or dll or whatever it is and I went ahead and installed it and still I got the blue screen. I'm gonna go re read the page...
Nvm I just reinstalled it after I went to "last known good configuration" And it work's fine I now have a genuine OEM version of vista and it worked fine. Just watch out if you have a nforce chipset aparently if you have a pci update there's alot of ****

Semi accurate guide from what I remember doing...
It work's great all you do is use winrar and open the file that has .rar/.001 whichever there is and then it will extract the iso, You mount the iso with Magic disk, Alcohol 120%, Power iso, Dameon tools, Whatever you want and it will install, It may take awhile but then all you do is left click on the emulated disk drive that says gears of war and click explore. There should be a folder called razor, or something like that which doesent fit, Open the folder there should be a file that says startup.exe, Don't run it. Left click it and select "Copy" Then go to whatever folder you installed it in, probobly c:/program files/Epic games or something and then there should be a folder bin or binaries and then you just look for the folder that contains startup.exe and then you left click and press "Paste" Then all you have to do is click on gears of war on your desktop if you put a shortcut there or whatever and then a window pops up, Click play and enjoy! I'm at act 2 and I haven't had any problems (Exept a really inconsistant framerate, Not sure why. Mabye my cpu isnt powerfull enough? X2 5000+ @ 2.7ghz)But it's a great game! There's no possible way to play online is there?
I've been downloading it for like a hour and it still hasent connected? and I dont think its my bittorrent program becasue my other games are downloading fine... Any ideas? I'm using bitcomet

and then i got a 8600 gt and another gig of ram and now when it goes to the main loading screen(menu or whatever) it just shuts down? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!
