Yes, you'll get a few "Dumb Antivirus" alerts - this is because of packed .exes and a couple of perfectly safe keygens that raise false positives. 1) Update your graphics card drivers. I faced a number of annoying random lockups and crashes until I updated my Nvidia drivers to the latest version.
2) "F6" is your best friend. The game has several bugs, so save often. Before elevators, before fights.
3) The galaxy map and the game work well with the crack above, but KEEP your original .exe! There will be a patch coming out soon, and you'll NEED to patch the game to fix all the bugs.
4) AWESOME GAME! Finished it, and actually want to play it again now!
Its the expansion pack. You need AoE III to play it. I recommend getting the Warchiefs expansion too. Once you have all three, install AoE III first, patch it to 1.12, then install Warchiefs, patch it to 1.04 and then install Asian Dynasties.

There's an interesting problem with this: you download the torrent and then install the game using the serial key in the NFO - but don't crack it yet. Download the 1.04 patch and the no-cd crack. But if you patch the game now, to 1.04, the serial doesn't work anymore! The NFO has 2 serial keys, and they both don't work AFTER patching the game to 1.04. You'll have to find some new serials. However, you can still play this with the supplied serials, as long as you don't patch.

You don't need all 10 GB - just DVD 1 is usually sufficient.
